1001 All-Time Best-Selling Home Plans

This book was cumbersome to say the least. When looking for a plan I narrowed down my wants to 1) Garage not facing the street 2) 3800 sq feet and up 3) Master Suite very large. After that I found several plans, and pondered them down to my dream house. Then I ordered the plan, spent $1200 and got absolutely nothing useful. These plans are not as advertised. One cannot actually build a house from the prints that are bought. My many phone calls were not returned, the company rep angrily argued with my contractor, my money was not returned and I was lightly threatened. Overall, the plans are nice to look at with a magnifying glass, but performance of promises is nil. I know that my dream house was dashed by this book.

The bulk and variety of plans in this volumnous catalog is tremendous. Most of the plans are legible, clear, and colorful. However, some that are printed 4-up on the pages made the plans "Barbie" size - impossible to read without a magnifying glass. You are reading along enjoying the homes and then suddenly come to one that is almost as small as a postage stamp! Without this one faux pas, I would have given it 5 stars.Still, a must have for those who love to peruse floor plans!

The book arrived earlier than it was estimated and seems to be in very good condition, I love that it has many plans and features will enjoy looking for a plan for my new home using these plans but will reduce the size for a smaller version..

Wow. What a book!! This book has about every possible style of plan that one could want. To all the detractors out there, The plans are not for detailed study. You can go to their web site and study the plans closer up if needed. The book is just for reference. Some are a bit small to see clearly but that is not a big deal. I can spend hours looking it over.

Twenty six years ago we built a home designed by Home Planners and have been happy with the design. Now my son wants to build a country house and I found two books by Home Planners and purchased them for them. I think they will find something and history will repeat itself again.Thanks Home Planners.

Was looking for ideas on a 3500 square foot house I'm building. Didn't find anything that appealed to me.

The book came in the allotted time and was in very good condition as indicated by the seller. I am a home plan book fan and this book met all my expectations. I am very pleased.
