Peek-a Who? (Lift the Flap Books, Interactive Books for Kids, Interactive Read Aloud Books)

My toddler LOVES this book! We have literally bought it 3 times because he has loved on it so hard it has come apart over and over again. That being said, it is a quality product and is a short and fun read for little ones. My toddler loves the suspense that comes with turning each page.

Great book to teach my little one how to read , my daughter loved it when she was little and now I got it for the grandbaby.

Hands down the MOST favorite board book of my children when they were young. And one that I can live with reading over and over again as an adult! A great mix of fun pages to turn and openings to view, and fun rhymes and great illustrations.

This was my daughter's favorite book 9 years ago, and now it's her baby brother's favorite book. Now. It's super fun to read and the kids can read it themselves after a while. I read this with my 1 year old, and gift it to other babies for their first birthday. Great little book!

I didn't expect to like this, but other reviews were so positive that I broke down and bought it. I'm not sorry, because it is super cute, and lift the flaps are always welcome for engagement. Not that pleased with the price, but happy enough to keep it. It rhymes (a must for us) and creates a "peek a boo" environment for further child-adult play.

My grandson’s very favorite book, and he has tons of books! He loves this one because it is quick for page turning and the words you say are fun. At the very end he gets to see himself in the mirror. He read this book so much it fell apart and I bought him a new one. I would rate this 10 stars if I could.

I am very happy with this book, and so are my grandchildren, who are 18 months and seven months. The toddler boy especially gets a kick out of it. It is small, but not too small; it ; is simple, but it is ingenious. Each page has a peek-a hole through which one can see a pattern with a clue to the suprise on the next page. I like that it has holes, but no flaps because the boy tends to tear the flap ones up and so you have to keep them up high where the kiddos can't reach them, which sort of defeats the purpose of a board book. This one is the right size for him to carry around, and hold, and page through. One of the reviewers downgraded it for the utter simplicity, but, really, that is the beauty of it. It keeps the attention of small ones and "busy toddlers" who have little patience for long-winded stories, and you can have fun hamming it up with suprised tones and sound effects. Here's the story: Page one and two: Peek-a- (then hole showing something spotted)2. MOOOO (a cow) on next two page spread; Peek-a (hole reveals a mysterious something)--BOOO (it's a ghost), 3. Peek-a- (look through hole), turn page--CHOO-CHOO (it's a train). Kids this age usually have at least one type of train toy so this expands on that concept, and language experimentation with the chug-a-chug-a choo-choo sounds. My son, who is a linguist and a connoisseur of kiddie lit agrees, this book is brilliant. Have fun with it, and I bet your LO's will, too.
