NOT authentic Hamentashen Cookies SOFT LIKE BAKERY COOKIES!
These are NOT hamentashen and I stupidly bought three... they are basic butter cookies with a TINY bit of jelly filling. REAL AUTHENTIC Hamentashen have a distinct taste, and these are NOT them. REAL ONES dont crumble in shipping, they are a harder based cookie, these are soft like bakery cookies... and Im so upset as I would pay $2 at my grocery store for these and unfortunately paid a lot more here. SO UPSET!!!!!!!!!! I wanted so badly to taste like hamentashen. Not only that... ALL ARRIVED CRUMBLED.. not one complete cookie, very upsetting how broken they were. I am copy/pasting for all three flavors... very upset!

Excellent!
I order five flavors of Hamentashen cookies from Green Cakes/Green Babka: poppy, prune, apricot, raspberry (Oops! On two other reviews, I claimed they were strawberry) and chocolate chip. Being a Christian and never really exposed to the Jewish lifestyle, I would not know what Hamentashen cookies should really look like or how they should taste from a Jewish perspective. However, all five flavors were excellent in taste and texture. The fruit flavors were very fresh, moist and soft with l-o-ts of filling per cookie. The chocolate chip was fresh, crisp and, again, had l-o-ts of filling.I read a comment from another customer complaining about the small amount of filling per cookie. So, when I received them, I thought Hamentashen cookies were supposed to have even more filing inside them. However, I do not believe that individual’s comment review was fair!!!On the Day of Purim, an Israeli acquaintance sent me pictures of their homemade Hamentashen cookies, along with pictures of their entire family in their costumes. The cookies of my Israeli acquaintance had very little filling. So little that I could not figure out what flavors they were. Now, this is probably due to the forced sanctions Israel must endure. With the Green Cakes/Green Babka Hamentashen cookies, one can visibly determine each cookie’s flavor!I was extremely pleased with these cookies, and I shared them with pride with friends. The five containers arrived in one box and a few days before Purim. However, the raspberry ones got a little banged up, thus causing the cookies to get a little crumb-covered inside their container. The other four arrived without any damage.Because I ordered five containers, the shipping cost was $2 and something per container, and I was not charged any tax on the order.I will order these again. I enjoyed a good investment and a good experience!
