Arrived when promised - and works as expected. It latches when it's supposed to latch, and releases when it's supposed to release. What's not to love about such a device? If you are in need of a Slide-Co 244691 Cabinet Door Elbow Catch, Satin Nickel Plated. You really need to buy this!

I made a matching cabinet to match the 100 year old built-ins in my house. This latch is just like the old ones, and they lasted 100 years so far!

It works well but I had to make other provisions to mount it, since it does not mpunt as pictured but perpendicular to the plate.

Great for cabinet doors that need to lock. Coupled with a cam lock on the other side, this product is A++

One of the springs popped right out -- and they're no bigger than a ballpoint pen spring. So not terribly robust. They hold up to a child pulling on the cabinet but not much else.

Well designed and manufactured

Buyer Beware; Very brittle and low quality alloy. I installed it on a cabinet with one screw to test the fit and center it properly, and yes - the screws that come with it are also about the cheapest screws made. I heard the latch give a nice satisfying click as it snapped closed when I shut the door. When i pulled on the door to see how snug it was, I heard an equally loud snap as the L shaped base plate snapped in half at the bend. I would estimate I pulled on it with a force measuring one or two ounces, as the poor fitting and cheap single screw was still in the soft particleboard just fine. This is about as light duty as you can get. The cast zinc material looks great - it has a great brushed satin finish, but it's just not the right material for this application. it's just too weak and brittle to do what it was designed to do - and that's simply to prevent a cabinet door from being opened. Fortunately it's also so inexpensive I'm just going to write it off and toss it, and replace the bracket with something heavier, like maybe a wad of JB weld as my time is far too valuable to waste it repacking and returning.

I found these nickel plated cabinet clasps to be well made and easy to install. I now have about a dozen in use and they are operating well. I would recommend these clasps.

Very smooth finish. No sharp bits to scratch fingers. Easy for children to operate. Care is needed when fixing the small strike plate as there is no adjustment in or out (holes are countersunk). I would not hesitate to buy more for future projects.

Came with screws and funtion exactly as needed.
