YES YES YES YES YES YES YES I've been a user of the Rimmel Stay Matte powder for a few years now and it worked okay for my oily/sensitive/acne prone skin for the time being. However, it would leave a powdery finish and make my pale skin look chalky and flat and dull. But that was the initial finish after I've applied the powder. After a solid 30 minutes, my face would start to pump oil and I'd end up being horribly shiny. HORRIBLY SHINY. My makeup would separate and slough off and I would look like I dipped my face into a bowl of water. That's how WET my skin looks and that's how OILY it is. Not pleasant. So when Maybelline initially came out with their FIT ME line, I was skeptical. I heard all these claims of how "matte and poreless" an oily skinned sufferer would look if they used the products. I sat back and thought it was a bunch of claims they were throwing out to consumers as a good marketing scheme. And of course, the FIT ME concealer is highly comparable to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (supposedly, as I have not tried the NARS one). I was sucked in and bought the concealer and I didn't like it much so my opinion for the FIT ME line stayed the same: lies and a good marketing scheme. But that was until I was talking to someone who has the same skin issues as I do. Oily, sensitive and acne prone skin! She said she used the MAC pro long wear concealer and the Maybelline FIT ME powder for oily skin. She, like me, cannot wear foundation as it will break her out. She has GORGEOUS and FLAWLESS skin now! Since I'm already using a MAC concealer anyway, I thought I'd cave and try the FIT ME powder when I was at my local Walmart. I didn't have any expectations of it, to be honest. I knew it worked for my friend but I wasn't sure it would work for me. But I didn't care because it was cheaper at Walmart than buying it at my Rexall drugstore so I thought I'd try it. I bought the transparent/translucent shade (because I have an issue with transparent/translucent shades looking too dark on my skin sometimes. How? I have no idea) and gave it a go the next day when I had applied makeup. So let's start with the packaging: It's pretty decent. I like it. It suits it well. It's just a square and in a compact, has a little mirror inside and a circular sponge applicator for touch ups if you want. As for the product itself, I have to say, I am COMPLETELY FOR IT! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I even bought one for me to take on the go in my purse! I apply it with a Real Techniques multitasking brush (because I want to invest in the powder brush and the eyeshadow brush set) and it sets my concealer wonderfully! At first, because it's transparent/translucent, it leaves a small white cast because there is NO COLOUR ADDED TO IT. DO NOT BE ALARMED BY THIS. You can easily dust it off and it's fine. It leaves me matte and poreless BUT I don't look cakey, powdery and flat like how the Rimmel Stay Matte powder leaves me. I feel like my skin looks like skin for the first time in forever when I wear it! I am a convert! I do have to touch up during the day, BUT ONCE! ONLY ONCE! My skin stays phenomenal for the rest of the day! The concealer is a no from me, but the powder I will repurchase forever and ever amen! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Maybelline! Do not discontinue this! I am a huge, huge, HUGE FAN! The good reviews of this are true to their word! I don't understand the bad reviews but everyone has different expectations for products, and everyone's opinion is personal. BUT TRUST ME. If you are looking into purchasing this, give it a try! There are 2 types: one for Normal to Dry skin, and the other for Normal to Oily skin. Purchase for your skin type and get it at Walmart for cheaper if you're a skeptic (like myself) I am telling you, you will be converted! And if not, that's okay too! You'll find something that works well for you at the drugstore! But for oily skinned individuals, THIS IS A MUST TRY! YOU WILL BE FOREVER CHANGED! I love this so much! Bless you Maybelline for saving my oily skin from looking so wet and greasy! IT HAS BOOSTED MY CONFIDENCE AND MY SKIN HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER DURING THE DAY!

I love this product! It works well for someone my age (I'm almost 81 years old). It looks natural on my face; no cakey residue! Believe me! I've tried other products, even expensive ones! I always come back to this product!

Pretty good. Exact shade match however finished within 2 months which is quicker than my normal 6 months with MAC.

I think this is a good powder if you have oily skin but my skin is normal and it felt like it was sucking the life out of it. I didn't want to give it a low score because I know it's made for oily skin . I use the liquid foundation so I thought I'd be ok with the powder but it was just too matte for my skin. It didn't feel as silky as other powders I've used. I actually bought this to use as a bronzer because I saw on YouTube that sun beige is a dupe for benefits hoopla light bronzer. On my fair skin it looked a bit too warm toned and seemed a bit off from the photo . It's always tricky when you order shades on line. I do think this is a nice affordable powder and It is perfect for oily skin. It would keep you matte all day. If you're skin is normal though I'd just get the other dewy and smooth powder formula. Amazon was kind enough to let me do a return. Hope this review helps.
