I'm not sure which one I like better yet, this one has more useful features like card slots, larger pocket, and a pen holder, but the simplicity of the Berlin makes it more convenient. I'd probably like this one better if it didn't have a tab and loop but just used the flap like the one the Berlin has to create a stand. This one does seem to stand up in the landscape position better. The leather is nice and feels very luxurious.I don't like how this new version holds the iPad in a leather-covered plastic frame, but that is true of the new version of the Berlin as well.
