Right idea, needs to be smaller in diameter.
Actually slightly tastes and smells like chocolate. But is too big. It'd be nice if they made something about the diameter of a pencil ✏️. Make something for teenagers and adults. I have used it to satisfy that need to chew or eat something. If you go with a smaller chew, I would try it.Ps increase chocolate taste and smell. That would be even better for bigs and grown-ups.

Awesome chew toys, but smell is too strong
My 4 year old needs something to chew on so she doesn't gnaw on herself. We bought the orange one and she absolutely loved it. Perfect. The chocolate has the same textures and quality, but the scent is very off putting. The scent is too strong, even though she loves chocolate. Unfortunately it doesn't get touched, so we will have to get another orange. So I wouldn't recommend if you have olfactory sensory issues, or need just a subtle scent.

Strong chocolate smell, but no real flavor
I ordered these for my kids and one for myself because I'm a chewer too. When I first got them, I could smell the chocolate smell eminating from them and it made my mouth water. The kids were even excited to get it. We opened them up and started knawing on them right away and we were all a bit disappointed. Although it smells like chocolate so much you'll really want to chew on it, it does not have a chocolate taste. The taste is so faint it's more like chewing on plastic while smelling a bar of chocolate. I keep mine in my purse for stressed out times, and the kids took theirs to school for when they're caught chewing on their shirts or pencils, but the teacher informs me that they are not even using them. I would start with a plain one with no flavor and if your child loves it, then move on to these ones. Because you expect to taste something good, and you get sadly dissappointed. The good thing is that they are very strong so it will take a child awhile before completely chewing through them.

Good for sensory input and teething
My son has SPD and seeks oral sensory input. He's been chewing on his shirt, which has been driving me insane, so I gave this a try. It is taking him a long time to get used to it, likely because it's not fabric and he isn't an object-chewer, like with pencils. I keep this chewy stixx handy so when he is shirt chewing I can grab this or ask him to chew it instead. We like the chocolate scent a lot. My teething one year old also likes stealing this chewy stixx for herself because she is teething and in a lot of discomfort.

Shirt chewing prevention
I got this to give my 4 year old autistic daughter who chews on her shirt collar. This is my second purchase and I love this chew. The flavor of this one doesn't seem to be as strong. Not my daughter's favorite but it works, she prefers the grape flavored chewy of the same shape. Overall a good investment for chew monsters 😁

Appealing scent and durable
This is the only sensory chew my young child has taken to. He sometimes chews his fingers or clothes so we use this to redirect him to a safer chewing option. It’s easy for small hands to hold on to, but long enough to reach molars for an adult. The chocolate smell is strong but not overwhelming, and it is holding up well to frequent chewing.

Awesome
My son has Autism and he is VERY orally fixated. These bities have worked very well to redirect his chewing away from things that he shouldn't be putting in his mouth. This is NOT chocolate flavored, it just smells like chocolate FYI. We also have a blue one and it's held up for almost two years with no wear.

Great product
I order this for my son. He is to old for the baby chew toys but I felt like he still needed something. He absolutely loves it. It smells like chocolate but doesn't have a taste to it. We ordered it a while ago and it is great. I would definitely recommend it to other parents. It is a very well made product.
