Best Valve Core Tool Around. It Works Where Others Don't
ALL of the other Schrader valve tools I tried were too short for anything except changing tire stem valves. This is the only one that had the reach to change the low pressure Schrader valve on my A/C Compressor (make sure the system is evacuated by a place that can recycle the refrigerant before you do this.) The tool is 4 3/8" long. The handle is 2 3/4" long. The shaft is narrow enough to change tire stem Schrader valves too. It is high quality and made in USA.

3/16" drill bit Modification
I purchased this valve core tool to refill 1lb propane bottles. All it needed was center drilled a bit deeper with a 3/16" bit, the the slot widened just a touch with file.

May need slight tweaking
I use this for refilling propane cylinders, I had to drill it out deeper to access the valve properly. Well made, it should last quite a while.

Modify for propane bottle valves.
I bought this tool to remove the valves from empty propane torch bottles. It worked great on the center valve but the side valve is too long for the tool to engage. I took a 3/32 drill bit and drilled the center deeper. Now it works great

Does not work for Coleman small propane tanks
I bought this to remove the valve from small Coleman propane tanks so they can be recycled. It doesn’t work for that which is the only reason I give it only 3 stars. The quality seems fine but the split is not deep enough to loosen a Coleman valve.

A good addition to your tool kit.
I won’t need this tool often, but one never knows. The Schrader valve tool used to be on the cap of every valve stem cover. Haven’t seen one of those in years.

Handy tool for small tire valves
What’s not to like. Effective tool and very useful to take out those tiny valves. I find it easier to put the valve in the tool first then just screw them in. The tool should last a lifetime.

Works awesome.
Worked great! I used it for my ac line on my truck. It was a tight fit so the tool size was perfect for replacing the valve. Pretty sure the other one was leaking.
