You imagine you're being read to by Baetrix Potter herself. We have read the books over and over ourselves but this ads a whole new dimension to the stories. Lovely!!! We could not get the ebook to work (the files appear the wrong format) but we didn't purchase it for this anyways.

Wish I could give zero. So excited to get this for my kiddo. Got him hyped up, put in the cd into his cd player and it didn't work!! I looked back at the box and it said works on CDs with mp3 capabilities - really?? A book on cd that only works with mp3 capability..???!!! What??? So a cd that doesn't work on cd players. Not cool, going through the hassle of sending it back! Urg!!

I bought the CD version for me and my 5 year old daughter to listen to in the car. The woman who reads the stories uses different voices for the animals which makes these amusing stories even funnier. ALL of Beatrix Potter's tales for children are in it ! I feel these classic books are an essential introduction to literature. AND they frequently make us laugh out loud - in traffic - which is no small feat !!

We purchased the audio book - which does not play in the car CD player, nor the home CD player, nor the computer CD/DVD player. We have never been able to get this CD to work and it was a complete waste of money. Very disappointing...

Wasn't what I expected. Wante4d cd to be for bedtime after stories. Didn't work

We have the book which I read to my kids and in the car we listen to this .... my kids have enjoyed this set for almost 12 years now

This CD is an unabridged reading of the books of Beatrix Potter. They are read by Shelly Frasier and she does a great job. She has a real talent for voices and brings Miss Potters memorable characters to life. My son loves listening to this again and again. Because the reading is so well done, I don't mind having to listen to it again and again

This CD does not play in my car's CD player - either player for that matter. I believe that you need to have an MP3 reader not just a standard CD player. A bit disappointing because I had planned to use it in the car.

I was so glad to have found this Beatrix Potter collection on what I thought was to be 1 CD and read entirely in a nice authentic British accent... it isn't. Firstly, innaccurate website description.... this collection is 3 CD's that are essentially in a Daisy CD format, which means they are data discs that can only be played in a PC, DVD or Blu-Ray player or a Daisy Player. THEY DO NOT WORK IN A CD PLAYER and of course, I bought them to play in a CD player... Secondly, the disc quality is not very professional either. The index is mislabelled, as in a few track names are misspelled and 8 tracks from 2 different stories actually have the wrong titles. Weird. On top of that, I bought what I believed was a new copy, turns out disc 1 and 2 are pretty scratched, 3 is not and there is an absolutely horrible smell to the entire product, case and all. Amazon sent me a new copy, no charge, and this copy, of 3 discs, disc 1 and 2 are slightly scratched and disc 3 is quite scratched, thankfully no bad odour. Again, weird. So, I can't play this collection in the cd player at night for some nice relaxing nighttime stories for my kid... which is a real drag. The storyteller, whose name I didn't know, but whose voice I did recognize, is wonderful, it just wasn't the voice I was hoping for... that's only my personal preference for these classic Potter stories. This is not a reflection of the actual quality, however the website description did say, ".... Shelley Frasier... in her British accent..." Of course... each to their own...

Disappointing AMERICAN voice. not an easy listen. comes with little book- more use than the audio! Hard to get onto computer/ ipod etc- strange set up. Wouldn't recommend
