Wonderful Chair. Best Personal PC Investment All Year!
For the price you cannot beat this chair. I've had the same office chair that I bought from Wal-Mart over 6 years ago, and it got so flat it really hurt to sit in for more than an hour. After upgrading my personal PC and getting into some longer gaming sessions, I knew I needed something that A) wasn't fake leather and B) had all of the support and adjustments I needed to personalize my sitting posture. This chair delivered on all accounts. The breathable mesh on the seat is thick, retains its shape, and the back is comfy yet durable. It was simple to put together, the rollers are high quality, and the adjustments are all strong and hold well. I can game for hours in comfort without having any pain in my legs or rear. The only gripe, and it's a small one, is the armrests are very hard. They work great for mouse/keyboard, but extended typing or using a gamepad and resting our arms against them at an agle really hurts your elbows after a while. I don't expect soft, padded armrests but that's just something to be aware of if you're buying it to game or you type a lot. I will buy this chair again when/if the first one wears out. *UPDATE 12/17/2015 - I still really like this chair, but the armrests have become the worst I have ever used. They're FAR too tall and can't be adjusted down far enough. After I have played Fallout 4 a few nights with an Xbox One gamepad, my shoulder is sore and my elbows are hurting. I ended up just taking them off and it works out, but I can see why more popular "gaming" chairs have armrests that adjust far lower or fold away. I'd still recommend this chair to anyone who works in an office, but for gaming use...probably not the best choice.

Solid chair, but armrests are not comfortable at all.
I just received the chair today. I timed myself on the assembly, because I read a couple reviews here that state assembly is difficult and took a while. I started the timer after unpacking the items, and completed assembly in 14.5 minutes. AND, this was with 2 minutes wasted on finding two washers in my garage that the manufacturer failed to include! Probably one of the easiest pieces of furniture I've ever assembled. The condition of all the parts was very good, with the exception of one minor scuff mark on the rear of the backrest (almost can't see it, unless you are literally inspecting each piece like I did). The box came slighted misshapen, but this is expected with pieces of furniture like this. As long as there is sufficient padding and parts are wrapped properly, the item usually is able to withstand a little abuse while packaged. The manufacturer failed to include two washers. Luckily, I had a couple spare washers, but I would have been a little pissed off if I had to run to the hardware store. The chair is highly adjustable. I just started sitting in it, so I can't comment yet on whether I can sit in the chair for hours without experiencing stiffness or back pain. I will know soon enough, and may update the review at that time. The only complaint I have, and I noticed this immediately after sitting in the chair and started typing this review, is the arm rests could have used a little more thought in terms of design and padding. They are hard, and I'm used to a softer armrest. This is going to be difficult to get used to - I may end up padding them myself somehow. Also, the positioning of the armrests just aren't right, and they aren't adjustable. Sure, you can adjust up/down and in/out, but it's angle of the armrests that I can't seem to adjust to. This is my biggest concern, and I already feel like I'm getting tired just typing this review. Armrests should just be flat. The curvature just causes discomfort, at least for me. For this reason, I am giving the chair 3 stars. [edit] Ok - so, I'm going to upgrade the review with another star, because other than the armrests the chair is actually pretty comfortable. It does seem to be a good bargain for the price, and if that's what you're looking for then you have found it in this chair.

great chair, but make sure to air it out
This is an awesome chair for the price. It is super comfortable, with multiple ways to adjust for comfort - the adjustable arms were a must for me as I have neck and shoulder weakness so need that feature. The trade-off for having adjustable arm rests is that they can not flip out of the way. However these arm rests are designed well and are set back far enough that I can get to my keyboard with plenty of room to spare. My husband put it together for me while I took the dog for a walk, and by the time I got back, it was all ready to go - he said it was not difficult. It is comfortable for me at 5'6" and also for my husband at 6'3'. The only mistake that we made was assembling it in the house and keeping it in the house after removing the packaging. I would recommend opening it up and leaving it to air out in a carport or a garage for a few days at least - the off-gassing of the materials is horrible - it has been 5 days and the odor is still strong enough to affect me at the back of my throat when I am in the room. It is chilly here but I have had to keep the windows open whenever I am trying to sit in it and work and I am on the 4th day now. I know eventually that those chemicals will dissipate just like new car smell and new carpet, but yuck. Otherwise, I love the chair, super comfortable.

Comfy seat angles and adjustable arm rest heights!
I use to work in a call center and fell in love with the chairs we had at our desks. I even asked to buy one off the company for my own use at home, but they refused. After years of having issues with my lower back in computer chairs, I finally came across this one. It’s pretty much the same as the one I used at work and allows me to change the angle of the seat portion, so my back has felt great since getting this chair! I’m 5’5” and using aftermarket wheels on this, so I need the foot stool. I imagine if I used the standard wheels I would be able to touch the ground. I also wanted the adjustable arm rests because my last chair didn’t and it hurt my shoulders. The chair was easy to assemble and the padding on the seat is comfy. I hope it lasts me a while!

Great, but trending towards not
Came in a big, beat up box but the contents were fine. Assembly itself was pretty alright - all the screws, washers, and tools (hex) were included. Kinda wish the instruction manual had more info about the chair (had to look up the amazon page of the product to know what the dial under the chair was for). So far everything was great... but like I said in the title, it seems to be trending towards not. Less than a month since getting it (and probably around 2 weeks of actual near-daily use), there's a loud clicking noise whenever I try to lean back. The chair tilt and back seat tilt still work but whether they're locked or not there's a loud click whenever I sit back, and a more subtle click when I lean forward. I've tried tightening the screws under the chair thinking maybe something was loose and was sliding whenever I moved but it didn't help. I don't know if things under need a spray of lubricant or something. And just now while browsing amazon for other household things, the left armrest fell by itself. It didn't fall off the chair, the adjustable part went from the highest setting sliding down several notches, with my arm in it. I wasn't leaning on it hard and I'm pretty sure it was locked in place, but still gave me a shock. I guess that's why I'm writing the review now. PROS: + I love the color, the orange is just nice, quite bright without hurting my eyes + The chair is actually comfortable, both the seat and the back. No back or butt pain here. + Adjustability is great; arm height, chair tilt, back tilt, back height adjustment, chair height adjustment, and arm height adjustment are great. + Casters look generic but roll really well (I have a thick plexiglass protector over high-pile carpet) + Mesh back is nice, comfortable, and prevents back sweat CONS: - Loud clicking noise whenever I lean backwards and subtle clicking noise when I lean forward less than a month into near-daily use - Arm rest plunged on its own (first and only time so far happened before writing this review) - Tension adjuster dial doesn't seem to do anything, 'tight' or 'loose' chair tilt/back tilt has no difference. Clicking also happens whether it's set to 'tight' or 'loose'. Personal: > Cosmetic 'dimple' near the back part of the chair cushion, probably just from the way it was packed/shifted during shipping. Doesn't affect comfort or structure of the chair, just something you sometimes see. > Butt cushion + fabric means it can get warm. I sometimes like to sit by tucking a leg under me. In my previous leather chair my leg was fine but now it gets pretty warm, pretty quickly. Just a personal observation, your mileage my vary. Tl;dr: Great chair but less than a month of near-daily use, I hear some clicking whenever I lean back and forward. Arm adjustment also fell but only happened once. Otherwise still a great-ish chair... for now.

For the price this chair is quite good. I've had it for only about a month ...
For the price this chair is quite good. I've had it for only about a month though, so not sure about long term durability. The mesh back does well with keeping cool. I haven't had an issue with mine stretching out yet like others have mentioned. Only time will tell. The adjustable arms are a little tall for going under desks even at the lowest setting, but are about right for resting your forearm although they don't necessarily need to be installed at all if so desired. The arm rests are made out of a rubbery foam material which seem to be holding up fine, but for those that are rough with their chairs, they will tear up at some point. The seat is cushy enough for me, and the contours are just fine. I do like all the adjustments, so I can fine tune my seating position. That was what drew me to this chair in the first place. The height adjustment is a little high at the lowest setting though. It's not a problem for me (6'1"), but I can see where it could be for those who are shorter. I was a little worried that the plastic base would be kind of weak (as opposed to a metal base), but it doesn't seem to be an issue at all. The instructions aren't great (not horrible either), but there really isn't much to it. If you can read and follow instructions, it won't be a problem for most. The best part of all is that it's silent. No squeaky squeaky like my old chair! Pros: Holy adjustable, Batman! Mesh back Comfy contoured seat Relatively easy to put together if you can read and follow instructions Cons: A little tall at lowest seat height setting may be an issue for some Arm rests at lowest setting are a little high, too

It was great for about 1 month.
For reference, I am about 5'9" and weight about 185lbs. The chair was excellent for about 1 month. It was easy to put together. It was comfortable. I have a sciatic nerve and two crushed discs from jumping out of airplanes in the Army and this chair really helped me get a proper seating position that didn't make my back hurt like most of the big cushy chairs do. For that, I really love the chair. My issue here is that after about 4 weeks, the webbing in the back started coming loose around the sides. You can see in the first picture, on the left side of the image, where the webbing came out of its groove. The reason this happened is because the webbing is just barely stapled in there with some thin little metal staples. I first found a staple on the floor and started inspecting the area. That's when I noticed the loose spot on the fabric. Over the next 2 months or so, that side came out entirely which led to the hole in the back area and severe discomfort sitting in the thing because there was basically no longer a back to it. Being that it's a $95 chair, I put a towel over it and strapped it on to keep my back from rubbing up against the plastic bar behind the webbing. Within another month, now about month 4, the left arm rest mechanism completely gave way and now that arm does not stay up. Two months later the same thing happened to the right side. I tried to rig these so they would stay up but being plastic, it's kind of hard to do effectively. Within another month, around month 6, all the plastic around the arm rests started cracking and splitting open. Super comfortable chair at a great price but then it gives out on you within a few months. I can no longer use this chair. I tried very hard to keep using it and I don't really consider this acceptable for basically having a 2 month lifespan for $95. I hope the manufacturer/seller of this product sees this and refunds me my money or gives me an upgraded quality chair to replace it with because I feel pretty cheated at this point.

Good Quality, Good Seat-Cushioning, and Good Lumbar Support Mesh
I've been using this chair for 5 months before I wrote this review. I've had no damage issues and the quality hasn't declined with daily use. This chair is a good purchase for the price and quality of the product. I'm 5'8" and around 145 pounds. I use the chair daily, and will be in it for 8 hours a day during college terms. The chair supports my lower back well, and the mesh on the back of the chair is firm enough to support but elastic enough to still be comfortable and conform to the contours of my back. The chair has enough adjustment mechanisms to keep the support focus on the lumbar spine, while tilting the seat at the correct angle to prevent tingling in the lower legs. The seat has firm cushioning, which keeps the chair comfortable and doesn't generate sore spots after repeated hours of sitting. Assembling the chair was simple enough. If you can assemble IKEA furniture, you can assemble this chair. I had no issues with shipping damage. I will mention 3 downfalls to the chair. First, the arm rests tend to rattle around when they're in the lowest possible position. The rattling stops if I raise their height, but the desk I sit at won't allow me to raise them beyond the lowest setting. While it doesn't affect the quality of the chair or how I use it, it's fairly annoying to hear the rattling basically every time I move the chair to sit in it, or pretty much any movement of the chair. I haven't tried to stop the rattling, but I would have to try and figure out how to remove the arm rests which is more time than I want to spend on a manufacturing issue. Second, this chair's lowest height setting seems fairly tall for someone of my height. I have it at its lowest setting, and my legs are just at the ideal angle to keep my feet flat on the floor. I can tilt the seat angle to help a little, but it's worth mentioning in case you are shorter than me. This could be addressed by placing something on the floor for my feet, but it's not ideal to do so. Finally, the seat cushion has a mesh liner covering it, which means small particles can end up between the seat and the mesh liner. Since I eat at my desk, small food particles can end up in that space. This is a minor issue, since a general sweeping motion with my hand or a towel will eventually catch the particles and send them flying onto the floor.

Schrott

Great value.
Great value. It has 3 adjustments including height, tilt back and back recline. If you have carpet you need a hard chair mat. I ordered the "AmazonBasics Polycarbonate Anti-Slip Chair Mat for Hard Floors - 47" x 59" "
