Great knife!
Bought this knife for a recent trip to Maui and it didn't disappoint! As a certified scuba diver I never get in the water without some kind of knife. However when it comes to family vacations snorkeling is what we're doing and my normal dive knife is large and would be overkiĺl for snorkeling. I opted for this smaller discreet knife and its awesome. I was skeptical of its size based on the description, but it was perfect! Small enough to be discreet but big enough to grip firmly and also razor sharp. The sheath is solid and holds firmly, the belt clip is a great feature and the reason I bought this knife. Cressi has been in the dive game for a long time and they got this one right!

Love it. Doesn't seem to rust. Easy open
Very nice knife. Important to know how to take it out. Its not a button, instead you simply pull handle at 90 degrees then out.

Decent enough for me
CRESSI SHORT BLADE KNIFE: Overall its been a good little knife. Primarily used for cutting bait and for emergency while kayaking. It holds a decent enough edge and stays sharp once you sharpen it. No rust as of yet almost a year in. I'm pretty good about wiping my knife after use. Only issue is the holster is a bit of a pain. Mainly when trying to remove the knife. It takes a little practice. On the plus it won't slip out. CRESSI is know primarily in the dive community but as a fisherman its a perfect little kayak fishing knife.

Perfect size but release takes some getting use to
I bought this knife to attach to my PFD for emergencies, such as cutting fishing or anchor line. It was easy to attach and well sharpened. The only downside is the release is a little awkward. I've practiced and gotten use to it however. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a small practical knife. If you are looking for a knife for your BCD or PFD this will be great choice. It definitely won't be coming out of the sheath accidentally.

Unexplained trick to unsheathing
There were no instructions on how to get the knife out of the sheath, and even after finding the trick it's not 100% reliable. There's no texture where you need to push on the sheath. Watch my video if you don't know how the release works.

Nice compact knife
Nice compact dive knife. Have never needed to use yet but glad I have on for when the need arises

Makes a great torpedo.
Might be a great knife. I don't know. The locking mechanism on the sheath has a hair trigger. I had the knife clasped to the chest of my life vest while on my fishing kayak, brushed up against the lock with my arm while paddling, and it shot the knife overboard like a torpedo. The lock was in the locked position, it just doesn't take much force at all to unlock it - then gravity does its thing and your two day old knife is rocketing toward the bottom of the bay. I've had several similar knives with similar sheathes from different brands and this is the first time this had happened. Seller was excellent, as usual. It's Amazon. Just a stroke of bad luck and questionable engineering.

Good quality, handy diver‘s knife
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good quality product, relatively small but as an add-on / backup knife perfect! Sits snug in its sheath and comes with a relatively short rope. Blade is well fabricated and makes a solid impression!

I bought this knife a couple of years ago and it is standard gear on my BCD. The slide lock mechanism is excellent for securing the knife in its sheath and the blade and cutter do their job well. I would highly recommend this product to any diver.

Top
