Back at the Barnyard: Season 1

Great cartoon or animation my parents love this show and watch it every chance they get, they are worse than children lol

I am forced to watch cartoons often since I have 2 kids. But this cartoon is actually one I enjoy to have on. It has kid friendly adult humor that makes it entertaining. As a reference some of my other favorites are Futurama, SpongeBob Squarepants, Gravity Falls, Dexters Laboratory, and lately (although not kid friendly) Bob's Burgers. I have never seen the movie, but as far as the tv show its quite entertaining.

My 8 & 10 year old really love it; more than me. But this is one of the few shows that you really have to pay attention to in order to "really get" the humor sometimes. If you watch the same episode more than once, you will discover something you missed! It is also one of the few shows with agnostic genre comprehension; meaning that there truly is something for all ages. Even the stuff that goes over the kids' heads gets funnier as I explain it. Barnyard cartoons for the most part are just innocent, don't think about it too hard, let them do all the work kind of viewing. Granted there are a couple that aren't so good and some are better than others but all in all if you're into movies like Toy Story, or most comedies with Steve Martin or having anything to do with Monty Python, Mel Brooks etc and cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Pink Panther then you will like this show.

If you're like me and you saw the movie, you were probably weird-ed out. But don't worry, aside from the barnyard themes, the TV show is nothing like the movie. It is absolutely hilarious. It's anything goes kind of humor that people of any age will be laughing at when they see it. I've watched both seasons several times and I still find it hysterical every time I watch it. Some times I pick up jokes that I didn't get before. Seriously, it's not like the movie. Just watch it and you will be laughing from the moment it starts until the moment it ends!

Way better than the movie I mean seriously they made that movie way to dramatic like a cow who made a sacrifice. The show is way funnier than the movie.

This was one of the few shows I actually enjoyed watching with my young children. The humor is silly but also clever, and it never talks down to its audience. If you like Shaun the Sheep (for younger kids), you and your children will most likely enjoy this.

Family humor-- clean & intelligent! Easily my favorite cartoon show. Jimmy Neutron is 2nd if that helps. Also, 'The Incredibles' is in top 5 movies of all time for me if that helps.
