Trimbrite BodyGuard Clear Smooth Protection Film (12' x 5 7/8")

I remember reading the reviews and everyone complained that this was too thick and not flexible enough.... well, they are correct..... but, for me, it is exactly what I was looking for. I was putting it on the sides of a Jeep Wrangler under a rock slider so thick and "unflexible" were just the two traits I was looking for. I would buy the product again just with the understanding that it is thick.

Protects paint well from rocks and debris but is thick and stiff to install on any curved or contoured surface.Best installed on uncomfortably hot day. Stay applied through all kinds of weather and auto car washes, until you choose to remove it. No damage when removed, again on hot day.

I needed protection from stone chips in the paint in front of the rear wheel well of my Chev Trailblazer. This protectionfilm applied easily, stays on, and did the job perfectly after a year of driving on gravel roads, snow, and salt. I would definitely recommend buying it.

I used this stuff as keel tape on all of my kayaks and it has held up well so far. The roll is 6" wide, so I cut it into 2 3" strips that are 12' long. Then I was able to cut those in half, so that I have 4 strips that are 6' long and 3" wide. This was plenty for me to do 4 kayaks that are 13', 12', 12' and 12' in length...since the keel is not all the way from front to back on these kayaks. We will see if it lasts long enough to make it better than gorilla tape. But it is nice because it is clear and I just used a heat gun to form it to the hule of the boat.

Too thick to be placed properly on rocker panels without trimming previously, but the instructions were not clear about this. Also, the adhesive is all but useless when applied against a wet surface (again, as per the poorly detailed instructions). After checking videos where they clearly showing how to bend the excess around the doors, it was impossible to do that with this product, because it is very stiff. Completely and utterly useless and a waste of money. Should it be heated? Who knows, the instructions never said. Very disappointed.

Worked as expected. It takes a little practice to apply it to curved surfaces. Read the directions and maybe use a different squeegee, the one supplied left yellow crumbs.

This stuff is great. It's thick, easy to cut and flexible. I used it to keep my bike seat from scratching my tank. I also put a few pieces in some other areas where I was getting some chafing. If you cut it correctly, it's hard to see and well worth the money.
