Instructions say "do not heat on high", so what microwave level or percentage should be used?

I’ve only used these in the microwave and always on high. That seems to work just fine with no damage to the bag or microwave.

How do you clean these?

I put a clean potato in and take a clean cooked potato out I have not cleaned it.

Other than cutting down the cooking time, does it produce skin equivalent to baking in standard oven?

No, the skin of the potato is not as crisp as it is from being baked in the oven.

How long before you have to replace them?

If you take care and clean them regularly, indefinitely. I've had one for almost 5 years now. The ones I purchased on Amazon were Christmas 2020 gifts. That's how good this product is.
