This fan is AMAZING! It has lots of power and very quiet and smart too.
Got this fan in the mail yesterday and found the assembly very simple, almost no tools needed except phillips screw driver, very straight forward. Keep in mind the hand nut that holds on the blade turns to the left to tighten and right to loosen, opposite to normal. Easy to remove the blade for cleaning. This fan is AMAZING! It has plenty of power and is super quiet. I use it in the bedroom and it replaces a walmart special pedestal fan that was almost worthless. It is so quiet I can't even tell it is running except for feeling the air blowing. On low i can have it directly facing me at 6 feet and its perfect. On medium i can face it perpendicular to me and its gets a great airflow in the room. Haven't had to put on high but for testing and it really moves the air. One of the best things is having it connected to Alexa, works great. The setup with Alexa was straight forward, install the Nash app, register with username and password, add the fan using my wifi network credentials, at this point you can control the fan using the nash app. Then install the Nash skill on alexa and use the nash login to finish. I did open alexa devices and did a search for new devices and added the fan to the bedroom group. This setup is the same for any alexa skill setup (light bulbs, outlets etc.) that use a 3rd party app, so nothing new to learn if you already know how to setup alexa skills. I have been looking for a smart fan for a while and finally found this one and at this price, i didn't even have to think about it, i just clicked buy now and glad i did.

Awesome smart fan!
This is an awesome smart fan! It was easy to assemble and worked really well. I have dual band WiFi so I did not have any connection issues. I was able to easily turn it on or off with a speed and oscillation setting from the app. The fan has a really wide turning radius too! It also has an automations feature and it automatically turns on if the house reaches a certain temp. Only downside is that the internal temp gauge is a little off but if you factor that in, you can still get it to turn on or off at the temp you want.

Stand leaves a bit to be desired, but love the operation and voice control
Unboxing and assembling - leaves a bit to be desired. The base - it's a thin cheap plastic formed cover over the weight. There are for little "tabs" that snap over to hold it in place - one of mine was broken. But it stays on so I am not losing sleep over it.The assembly of the top - annoying. You are to take the rear shroud and mount it to the fan motor and screw a retainer over it then to hold it in place. But there's a big plastic knob thing in the way, not mentioned until later when you secure the fan. I wish they had mentioned it at this step where you need to remove it, and that it has threads the OPPOSITE of normal, so you have to "righty tighty" to get it off. And the way the front and back of the shrouds mate is a bit of an annoyance, but once you get it spaced right and snapped in and screwed, it's fine.I got this for one reason - the Alexa integration. I had a nice, larger stand fan where this will go that had a remote, but I had to often get up and walk around to get the remote the line of sight it needed. I have this on the landing that's 2/3 of the way up my stairs from the basement. I've kept my energy costs and A/C needs very low all summer by having a great high power fan in the basement blowing that naturally cold air up the stairs. Then I have a stand fan like this to "boost" it the rest of the way up into the great room. And it's worked great, 90's outside and just this without any A/C had my temps around 76 or 75. Made a huge difference in what I had to shell out for the electric company. The one in the basement has a smart plug that I control with the app or voice via Alexa, so I wanted the same functionality here.I use the smart home app for other switches and plugs already, so this was a piece of cake. I plugged it in, never even turned on, saw the blinking light, opened the smart home app, and it found this instantly. I was off and running. Manual operation from the app gives me a nice fan graphic showing it spinning. You can turn it on and off, and set speed. But here's the kicker for me - this thing is silent. When I first asked Alexa to turn it on, I was maybe 12 feet from it, line of sight, and I couldn't tell if it was on or not, it was so silent. The other one moved more air, but was SO much louder. This one moves enough for what I need, and it's nearly silent. I hear the fan BEHIND it at the bottom of the stairs, not this one...Hopefully it keeps performing this well.

Awesome Smart Fan
So first of all, assembling this thing was comical. We had to go to level 3 to make it work. Level 1 = Trying to assemble it without instructions. We couldn't even take it out of the packaging without them. Level 2 = Putting it together using only the instructions. Level 3 = YOUTUBE. Fortunately, the nice Nash guy from the advertisement also made a youtube video explaining everything that wasn't clear in the instructions. Once we figured out which way to turn the screw, it was simple.Setting up the software is also relatively easy. As someone pointed out earlier, this does NOT work with 5.4 GHz internet. My router has both 5.4 and 2.4. When I initially attempted to install, I was connected to my primary wifi which is 5.4. The connection timed out and refused to work. I decided to log into my secondary 2.4 GHz network to try that. It turned just fine. Fortunately for me, I was able to log back into the 5.4 without any problems after the installation was done. If you don't have 2.4 GHz for some reason, this fan will not work for you, at least not remotely. The Nash Smart app is very intuitive. I haven't experimented with all of the settings, but I can turn the fan off and on, switch between 3 different speeds, make it turn, and use sleep or nature modes. Nature mode varies the spin rate of the fan randomly to imitate a natural breeze. This is my new favorite mode. You can definitely feel the variations. Sleep mode seems to be slower than the slowest setting. You still get the breeze, but it is totally silent. There are more settings that I have not tested. I read that I can set up the fan to react to weather conditions outdoors or operate on a timer. I don't really have a use for this yet, but might experiment in the future.Overall, I am pretty satisfied with my first smart fan experience.
