Pads seem as good as the official replacement pads. Good value.The secret to pad efficiency and life is to soak them first in tap water, flip them every time you fill the tank. This is especially true if you ever let the tank run dry.On warner days in warmer climates do not leave the wet pad in place if you turn off the unit for a while.I use tap water, as while there is some residue, de-chlorinated water allows mold to build too rapidly, the you need to buy additional treatment fluid to the inhibit mold.Bottom line: this first pad had great evaporative characteristics if prepped properly, otherwise they were slow to start.

Bought this for replacement filter for Holmes coolmist vaporizer fit was perfect.

2nd time I've bought this item, and it works fine. Not much else to add.
