I wanted the base covered too and this cover was the closet i could find. This is the rough measurements of my double egg chair: Dimensions: Basket Chair: 136 x 75 x 114cm Bracket: 120 x 198cm (All measurements approx.) and the cover does reach to the bottom but not enough material left to tuck under the base. I don't use the pull string to close in the cover, i can if i wanted to, as the picture shows, but as i want the cover to try and cover the base as much poss i leave the "pull string".
