The illustrations are beautiful and the storyline is so cute! Matilda has many older and younger siblings and feels unnoticed being a middle child. Her mom enrolled her into ballet and Matilda loves! When she tries to practice at home she feels that everyone is too busy to notice all her new dance moves. When the day of the big recital comes and no one in her family mentions it, she no longer feels like dancing...but when the burrow oddly becomes quiet Matilda is in for a big surprise!
