In the country there are lots of watering holes and using these has eliminated mosquitoes.They say they are non toxic and I use them my big copper bowl pond in my garden and they worked great. They have a slight smell but not noticable and they are easy to use. The speed is always important and they get right to work. I use them in lots of places and they don't seem to leave a residue so my pot is easy to clean. Use them any place there is standing water.I have had these for a few years and the tablets have stayed usable since I bought the big pack.I was surprised how long they lasted in the water keeping mosquitoes away which I guess makes them durable.I like that the ingredients are more natural and safe for the critters and creatures I love.

I've had these before, and they work very well if you have a water feature, or are likely to have standing water in your yard. You're not supposed to handle them very much, and since the packaging on this is extremely secure, it makes it very difficult. The cardboard backing is securely glued to every inch of the plastic topping the dunks. You have to peel if off, small piece by small piece. It's a real pain, and not quick or handy at all. The ones I've had before had the cardboard backing slotted into folded edges of the plastic, and you could just slide it down, and 'dump' out a dunk with no need to touch or handle them extensively. So much nicer! These are a good price, but I would pay more for better packaging.

I was a little skeptical, but I needed to try something. My 2 year old would be bitten at least 3 times or more in less than 10 minutes being outside. My wife also was getting bitten when working in the garden. I placed buckets approximately every 100 ft along the wooded perimeter and some around the house. Within a day there was a difference. I was amazed. My daughter could be out for long periods of time and no bites. This product is very effective. It could not be any easier to use. I do not know the full life cycle of these tablets. There are many factors of how much rain and sun that can impact how effective this type of product can work. I can say it has been over a month, and they still work and most of the tablets are still intact.

These dunks are great; I put them in my water barrels as well as my overflow which are heavy duty plastic trash cans and I have not had any mosquitoes. I have been using them for a month now and with this HOT Alabama weather I have not seen any. I water my plants and fill my large fountain with the water and it is safe for plants as well as pets and wildlife.

Some of the dunks tend to crumble into small pieces, making them a bit harder to handle and place exactly where I want them emphasizing that the fragility is disappointing.Decent value and results, just wish they held together better.

The amount of mosquitoes has dropped tremendously! Give it a week and you will not regret it! Make a mosquito haven and put a dunk in it, they will lay eggs but the eggs will die and POOF! Problem solved!
