Does this tape work to repair torn photos?

Yes but only on the reversible of the image

I'm looking to repair a tear on an old purchased 60 years ago Japanese art folding screen referred to as Byobu. Will this product work for me?

It's worked beautifully for me in mending book pages of early edition children's books - strong, invisible and matte. If the screen is more porous paper, I stiil think it would work; that is just my guess.

I need to repair the back cover of an old scholastic paperback book that was partially torn off, will this work? Thanks for any input!

It says its primary use is to repair tears and other damage to paper art documents, maps, and artifacts. Also useful for hinging or reinforcing paper. I think it will work fine to repair the back cover for you since it is a paperback book.

I use it to repair the Paper Inner Sleeves of Albums. It works great on "LIGHT" colored paper. It does show if I use it on Dark colored paper. I have never tried it on book dust jackets, however I have used it on the shrinkwrap for Album Jackets, and it DOES show.
