The material is soft and it fits as expected. I did measure myself and then selected the size that fit to closets to my measurements; which was a 5xl. I am happy that I used the sizing chart :D! I normally wear 2x, I ordered 4x. I'm not even sure 5x would've been enough, as the 4x wasn't even gonna come close to fitting and zipping up, and 5x is as large as they go. It fits reasonably well on my 16 year old who's between a large and a 1x and quite lithe for the sizes he wears, so I gave it to him. He was happy about it. :) Just don't buy this as a bigger dude and expect it's ever gonna fit you.
