Garrett 14" Classifier 1650200

I bought this pan to sift my compost. We compost rabbit manure and kitchen vegetable scraps and coffee grounds. We get rocks and stray items in the mix, so this is nice to sift those items out. Nice product.

I have a collection of classifiers, but was missing this size. It is very handy for getting rid of larger rock when panning for gold. The quality of the classifier seems to be very good and I feel it will hold up for years of use. Garrett is a well known name in the gold panning business and this is a very well priced and sturdy unit. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

This is my preferred classifier. I have both 1/4" and 1/2".

I bought this to sift my holiday popcorn to remove unpopped kernels. It does. A few small popcorn pieces come out also but that's okay as they aren't really the quality I want in my final product. I make caramel corn and cheezed popcorns and don't want unpopped corn in the final product. Works perfectly.

Arrived quickly and works exactly as described. It is made of a very sturdy plastic and sits nicely atop a bucket. I use it [in combination with super clumping litter (Arm&Hammer slide/premium)] to quickly sift the FOUR cat bins my 2 finickey cats apparently require 😆. Only note for this usage is that a bucket of litter can be difficult for some to lift. If there was a version with slightly smaller holes it would be better but, this works for me.

Certainly not the cool gold prospecting job it was made for, but this thing works really well for rapidly cleaning cat litter boxes. I simply put it on top of a 5 gallon bucket and poor the entire contents of the litter box through it. What's left in the pan goes into the garbage, and then I just pour the rest back into the litter box. Takes about a minute and makes things super simple.

This was a big time saver. Used to remove thousands of small stones mixed in with dirt where I wanted to plant a vegetable garden. Was able to easily se-arate the stones from the dirt and use the stones elsewhere.

It's a good plastic classifier for gold mining & because it's plastic you can run your metal detector over it, it fits my pan & bucket just fine, very strong. My first one lasted 3 1/2 years before a small piece broke off, with all the use and rocks & dirt i say this is very good.
