Decent bit of kit.
Bought this to connect the RAM Quick Grip Phone Holder to a RAM Handlebar Mount on my motorcycle. It's a RAM Mount, so it's quality. It's the proper marine grade aluminium part. Combined with the phone mount, it's almost infinitely adjustable, so I can position my phone at whatever angle/orientation I like.

Tough and durable
Ram products are made to be durable in every application that they’re built for. Whether it’s a phone holder that can withstand the vibrations, lean angles, or wind on a motorcycle, the abuse of a semi over railroad tracks, potholes, and bumps, Ram has it covered. This double ended socket holds my phone in my semi, and it hasn’t budged, loosened up, or stripped. My Ram suction cup and phone holder that this attaches to have also endured the abuse. If you want a durable and dependable product for your car, motorcycle, semi, tractor, helicopter, or plane, Ram is the way to go. Their products cost more, but you’re only going to have to pay for one.
