These were closed off really really tight and had to force the ends open to put in the chain then crimp it closed to keep the chain from falling off. You can use these fine as long as you don't need to take the chain in and out of this connector. They worked for what I needed them for.

These connectors do have a tendency to bend when you are connecting them to the chain. I would say that about one in ten will bend when you are connecting them to the chain and need to be discarded; however, the ones that do not bend seem solid once they are connected. If you need all 100 then i suggest getting the stainless connectors instead, but if you only need a few and want to save a few bucks then get these.Pros: Less expensive Cons: Not all connectors will be usable

These ball chain connectors are as good as they come. Make sure you only buy from Ball Chain Manufacturing Co. as all others are cheap, low quality, import knock-offs. Buy American!!!

You have to separate the connector at each end before the ball chain will go into it. The ball chain that I ordered with it is a slightly different color than the connectors.
