Good — not the taste we expected
There may be a regional variation in recipes that played into our reaction to this product. We are accustomed to a different style Tapenade, so it’s difficult to leave a review. The product was exactly what we ordered only though lacked the taste that may be expected by an American palate.

So authentic but..
I used the tapenade as part of an appetizer plate. I thought however that the cost was too high. I purchased also an 8oz jar of black olive tapenade at a supermarket chain and it was comparable to this product.

Black olive tapenade
I first tried olive tapenade in France last September and fell in love with its wonderful taste. This tapenade came from The Luberon area of Provence and is superb.

Loved it! A necessary ingredient for Black Risotto better known as Spooky Rice

Pure caca
This is the second worst tapenade I have ever tasted. The worst is their green olive tapenade.
