I've been buying headlights for years and am so happy I found this one!! It's durable, has a better fit than most headlights, it's bright, has narrow/wide adjustable spotlight, a dimmer mode and flashing mode. Having used it at night in the outdoors, I decided I needed it at work. I use the dimmer mode in patient rooms to see without having to turn on room lights when patients are sleeping. I love it!

Super bright, easily zooms from wide to narrow beam and best of all, uses three AA batteries rather than rechargeables or AAA batteries. It has run for many hours on the first set of batteries with no sign of needing a change. Price is fair if you need a "real" pro quality headlamp.My only gripe is the weight, but it's well made and the batteries account for some of that weight, so it's just a trade off. I have several little light weight units for general use, but when I need a lot of light for repair work or camping, this is the go-to headlamp

The batteries within a separate little part on the back is awkward...not very comfortable. Had one before like this but batteries were where the light is located. It was much easier to use...and no problem with the battery holder slipping on the back of your head. It IS a bright, good light..but not the most comfortable on the back of your head.

Easy to turn on/off and adjust light from spot to wide beam. Straps easy to adjust as well.

I used it today, while replacing a ceiling light on a cloudy day. It was the right weight on the head, straps were tight, light was bright. Well Satisfied with this purchase.. I can't speak about battery life because I've only used it a couple times, HOWEVER it uses AA batteries which I always have around the house. I had a lighter weight headlamp previously, and it used a coin battery, and the day I needed it....battery dead. That is why I bought this one.

I bought this to replace a 305 lumen headlight that I use every evening. I thought it would be much brighter than the other headlight. Not really. It is a little brighter, but not three times brighter. It was also three times the cost of the other headlight. I also don't care for the flashing mode. I find no use for it. I do like that it uses AA batteries instead of AAA. They last a couple of days longer.

Bright light, adjustable coverage area, dimming, and flashing light options all work as advertised. See through battery compartment cover is a nice feature over other similar products as can easily see if there is any corrosion or moisture accumulating. Headband adjustments work well, unit stays securely in place even when moving around. Most important for me is the product is powered by three AA batteries. Using rechargeable batteries is a device like this just doesn't make sense to me given possibility of usage in conditions where there is no possibility of obtaining electricity for a recharge. This is one of the only remaining headlights I could find that still runs on AA batteries.

I’ve only used this a few times on the trail and it is extremely bright, but the hinge broke after it was in my backpack. It is very heavy for a headlamp as well. I do not recommend.
