Cake Beauty Desserted Island Enriched Hand Lotion, 2 Ounces

I absolutley love this lotion. The smell is heavenly!! It does not leave the greasy feeling like some lotions do.

This hand cream smells so delicious and softens my hands so we'll. Stays on after a wash or two.

I had such high hopes for this lotion. From the description it sounds delicious. Unfortunately it doesn't smell delicious. I don't even know what it smells like but it's not a good smell. The lotion itself is brown. At first I thought I might have ordered one of those self tanning lotions but it isn't. It feels good going on your skin but it does leave a little tackiness on your hands afterwards. Doesn't feel greasy and seems to absorb into your skin but it's the feeling it leaves on my hands that I don't like. Decent size for the cost but I definitely won't buy it again. Tried to give it to my teenage daughter and she didn't like it either because of the scent. Still wondering why it's brown too...

I absolutely love this stuff!! I bought it at a Rite Aide and then I went back to buy more and wanted to try the body lotion and the mgr said they had to send it back because it wasn't selling.....i would have bought the entire stock....first of all the hand lotion is not greasy...its not thick or thin....its the perfect consistency and it absorbs nicely into your skin and then there's the beautiful smell that it permeates....i got nothing but compliments from people telling me that I smelled so good...its a sweet smell not floral....i can't stand floral and in my opinion it does smell like cake....i don't even know where to find this in stores but seriously this stuff is amazing!!

I like the smell of the product and it is somewhat moisturizing. I wish it was a little thinner in consistency.

My daughter loved it. It smells great. I do however think it is a bit expensive.

It’s an okay hand cream. Not as moisturizing as I like & the brown color isn’t very appealing.

by far one of my favourite hand lotions. leaves hands so soft and smells soooooo good. bought one for my mother in law also.

I love this brand. The hand cream is so effective. And I love the scents of the other creams, but not Desserted Island. Initially it smells like buttery cookie dough, but it dries into a very alcoholic coconut cocktail smell. Unfortunately it’s strong, too, and lasts for hours. I’ll be buying ‘Cake’ again, but not this particular hand cream.

I love the Cake products and this hand lotion has all the elements to purchase it again and again. Smells delicious, nice texture, and is absorbed quickly without a greasy feeling. Moistures well and the price was also right. I am a flight attendant and is a good size to stick it on my bag and have it handy to use it after my endless sanitizer applications. I definitely recommend it and will buy it again

I don't think this cream smells very good at all. I definitely don't smell any pineapple, lavender or coconut whatsoever. I suspect the lack of top and middle notes is a result of it being old i.e. Amazon not turning over the product quickly enough and letting it sit for a long time in their warehouse. Next time I will buy my hand cream from a physical store.
