We have struggled with it from the time we got it because it just does not make enough pop corn. I have decided to get another. Now in doing my research I see where a 16 0z. popper should use 2 cups of corn & 1/3 cup oil. What came with it was 1/2 cup for corn & 1 Tablespoon for oil. Then I took the measurements for mine, it measures 17 1/2x 14 1/2x 25.6. The measurements on this 16 ounce popper are 16x18.5x 25.6. So now I am thinking they did not actually send me a 16 ounce machine like I ordered. Since I have been using it a year & a half, I will just learn from my mistakes & be sure I get what I ordered. We use ours in a concession stand & it does not even begin to make pop corn fast enough.Last night I decided to use the specifications I found on another site and use 2 cups of corn & 1/3 cup of oil. It was AMAZING! it popped much faster & made a large enough batch of pop corn. So lesson is don't use the measuring items that are sent with the pop corn machine to make your pop corn if you need a lot of pop corn fast.
