Nice balance, Power and Finesse a in ProMark Signature Drum Stick
IF you view videos of Will Kennedy playing you will notice he plays in an open-handed style. That is he hardly ever crosses his hands but plays his left side hi hat with his left hand and snare and cymbal embellishments with his right hand. These sticks compliment his style and also provide him the power that he occasionally displays for instance at the thrash can endings of many tunes with the Yellowjackets. For me I have recently adapted his open-handed style and enjoy using his signature sticks while doing so. They help me with executing dynamics from very soft snare hits to strong back beats. If you have never seen Will Kennedy play his single stroke roll on the snare using his ProMark sticks I encourage you to do so. I believe he is naturally left handed on a righty set up drum kit. However his ride is just above the left side Hi hat. If he uses these sticks and plays beautifully then I wanted to use them also. Give them a try. They have a .580 diameter for power with a 3" taper for finesse playing and they are 16 1/2 " long.

Carpal Tunnel/ arthritis grip issues…
For the last few years, playing has been increasingly challenging as I’ve been developing carpal tunnel syndrome, predominately in my right hand. I got by with switching to holding my stick between my index and middle finger when my normal grip would give out… then I’d grab my industrial size box of alcohol wipes and disinfect the inevitable busted blisters there after the gig.No kidding at all, I almost cried after my first gig with these. I never thought once about my hand/grip. The waves and the coating allowed me to keep a light grip without the stick sliding about. In all aspects of my daily life, my issues with my had have decreased, only change I made was trying these sticks. Please, Promark, don’t ever discontinue these. They’ve changed my life in ways people without chronic pain can’t understand.

Promarck excelentes
No son las indicadas para mi, son hasta más pequeñas y livianas para mí tamaño pero aún así se sienten bastante macizas...

Actually functional. Slightly unbalanced. Practical for heavier hitters.
I don't think these will end up being many peoples' main pair of sticks, but they don't feel nearly as much the novelty you'd expect them to be by looking at them. They really do afford more grip, and this is at the cost of feeling just *slightly* awkward, but surprisingly, the ridges themselves aren't what makes them feel awkward, but the fact that the sticks are heavier towards the tip. That imbalance doesn't make them ideal for lighter work, but that extra grip plus the weight to the front would make them great for heavier hitters who hold their sticks further back.I'd like to see a pair that addresses the balance issues, but that weight distribution might not be an issue for some.

Your search for short sticks is over
I've needed these for 30 years without even realizing it. I always kind of *liked* my broken drumsticks, where the top inch or two had sheared off -- liked their balance better, even though I sorely missed the proper bead on the end. I even occasionally resorted to sawing the butt-ends off. Finally, I started looking around on drum forums -- did anyone, other than kiddie sticks, actually make them short on purpose? Everyone said to get these, and sure enough -- they're perfect. Well made, well finished, tough hickory -- I've chopped them up pretty well on rims without breaking them -- these are just great sticks if short is what you're looking for.

Great Sticks
I really like these sticks. They are like a long 5a with the active grip and the waves on the handle. The waves are great and make it very comfortable to hold even if your hands are sweaty. I also like how the active grip makes the stick tacky as they are exposed to moisture (ie. Sweat). Definitely worth giving a shot. Even if you don’t like them, keep them in the stick box and I’m sure your buddies will ask about them.

Good enough for Phil....
High quality by Pro-Mark, as usual. I normally use a different pro mark stick but bought these for use on my electric kit. The shorter length works well for this.

Groovin with the grooves
I like the ergonomic grips. These light, bouncy sticks are very comfortable. Comes with a little rubber band/marker to mark your perfect spot on the sticks. I have owned a lot of sticks but these are by far my favourite.Only note I have to make is I have not used them on a proper drum set, only for pad practice so I can’t speak to functional durability on a full kit.

Amazing, but…
Firstly let me say that this drumstick is really good. Diameter between 5A and 5B, longer than 5A and long taper. Very well balanced. Nice rebound without loosing control. Way more exciting and alive than the standard 5A.The problem is that I have relatively small hands and short fingers, and the sticks, although great, is a little too big and thick for my hands. If you have bigger hands, I promise you that it will be as good as it gets.
