There's only a slight difference in color but it doesn't bother me. Highly recommended!2018: Still loving these strings, and it's (probably past) time to order more. I now also have a TFW banjolele, and you can bet I put this strings on it straightaway - it sounds even better than the Recording King. I'm trying out a Fremont Soloist low G string but I think a 'regular' wound string would be better so will be trying the Aquila 9U for just the low G.
