Out of the box, the quality is definitely immediately apparent. The one I got came with only one blade, but everything else was there. The user manual/set up guide is easy to read and follow. Once the machine is booted up, the interface is easy to get used to because its sensible and effective. After about 6 hours total with the machine since initial set up, the biggest problems i've had was the registration mark system (call ARMS) and ensuring that the cut media properly aligned. The machine depends on registrations marks on the cut media to direct the cutter blades but depending on the media used the machine may or may not recognize these marks and the job will fail (I was using gold and silver polyester adhesive backed paper from Papilio). If using paper, normal paper seems to work. You are probably going to waste a whole lot of material until you learn what media allows the machine to read the registration marks. Later this week I am going to use vinyl and I hope it works out.

Top of the line cutter capable of very very small cuts. Takes a bit of tweaking of parameters, do one at a time, to get the optimum performance. Buy it. It's no toy and the evidence is in the final cuts.
