Packed with good stuff and apparently delicious
This is packed with good stuff, mostly organic, and, surprisingly, my dogs really like it. I sprinkle it on their kibble and I see one of them licking diligently at any extra that has clung to his bowl when he has finished his breakfast.

Picky eater and over-weight dog issues resolved!
I have two small mixed breed dogs. One had weight issues that were getting worse by the year. We paid a lot of money for every traditional, natural, organic, fresh, and refrigerated type of dog food we thought would help her. She was lethargic, rarely played, and was developing fat deposits and joint issues. She's a very happy little dog and it was sad to see her get winded so quickly. Our other dog was very thin and an incredibly picky eater. She would peck at her food and although she's a fast runner and very "healthy", she wasn't very playful. We had been discussing making our dogs fresh food for a while and finally went for it, purchasing this powder to supplement the meats and vegetables with nutrients and vitamins specific to the needs of a dog. I am blown away by the results. My dogs took one meal to "investigate" this new powder, sniffing it and eating slowly. Since then they have become obsessed with meal time. The picky eater has never been so excited about anything. She gets more excited for us to pull her bowl out of the fridge than she does when we go to the treat drawer. The truly amazing change is the one we've seen in our formerly overweight dog. Within two weeks she was noticeably much thinner, more energetic, and no longer has the occasional limp with her hip (note we had a vet look at her limp and hip before trying the diet and he did not recommend anything other than weight loss. I definitely wouldn't rest the solution to a limp on diet change without checking with my vet). Both of my dogs are now so playful and more engaged with us and each other. They still rest throughout the day, but they are much more active and have longer sustained energy when we play outside. After two months, my formerly overweight dog is no longer overweight. I've also noticed their coats are softer and shinier. It's very hard to rate products like this that work internally toward long-term health, but considering the dramatic improvement in our dogs' health and energy, and the fact that even the picky eater loves the flavor of her food when this is incorporated, I have to rate this high. There have been two days where we had to serve them their old kibble and we added this powder to it, and the picky eater ate. So this can help with kibble as well. I just don't think we'd have seen the weight loss we did in our dog had we stuck with kibble. (Also note the amount of food you serve your dog may change with homemade food. We serve our dogs slightly more homemade food than we did kibble.) I'm very happy we made the move to homemade food and found this product.

Nutrients dogs need
It provides nutrients my dogs need. The dogs seem to love it. There is never anything left in their bowl.

Great for a Dog with Diarrhea Eating Home-cooked Meals! But Beware of the Expiration Date
Having tried all kinds of dog food (dry kibbles, wet food, refrigerated food, frozen raw food) to no avail, my last resort was cook her food. She would get bloody diarrhea or diarrhea with mucous and urgency with every dog food I tried. The only 'dog food' that stopped her diarrhea was prescription diet I/D from Science Hill, but I could not think of giving it to her for the rest of her life due to nasty ingredients. It also made her lick her toes, bite her nails, and get anxious. So I am now baking her ground turkey breast and eggs mixed with cooked rice. I added this to her food for vitamins lacking in home cooked meals. I also bought ' Organic Pet Superfood DIGESTION Premium Supplement For Dogs and Cats 60 grams ' for her diarrhea (You can see my review from the product site as well), and it did help her stool get firmer. However, she would still be dripping a bit of water. After I added Dog Greens to it, her stool looked so much better. You would not believe it is stool from a home cooked meal-fed dog with chronic diarrhea. I am very happy with the purchase. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the expiration date. This is expensive, but a big package. I give my dog 1/2 tsp everyday, and it would last longer then 1 year. However, it expires in 6 months.

My Dog Loves Dog Greens
My dog likes the taste of Dog Greens and no problem mixing with food. They help keep her in good health. I saw this with another dog I had, good results.

Works but Allergic
Got my golden retriever to stop digging and eating dirt. Unfortunately she’s allergic to something in it. She’s been digging at her paws since taking this so we’ve got to discontinue use.

Great for older dogs. Good for younger dogs.
I used this for the last 4-5 years of a black lab golden mix and it helped her to stay healthy to the ripe age of 16 1/2 before I had to put her down due to hip issues. That age is pretty unheard of for her breed. It helped her to have a great healthy coat and skin but also and iron gut to where she never had any issues in that regard. Due to how well that went after waiting about 8 months after she passed away I got a full bred Golden Retriever and have fed this to him from day one. It's a bit harder to gauge a puppy on something like this but he has zero issues and is extremely healthy. For those on a tight budget I would definitely recommend giving this a try for an older dog. Though if you can afford it doesn't hurt to sprinkle a tablespoon of this on their food each day. Just my 2 cents!

Made both of my dogs extremely ill.
Zero, if I could. This made both of my dogs sick. It gave Lexi diarrhea so bad that it cost me $300 in ruined rugs and a $178 vet bill. Daisy wasn't as affected. The greens just made her throw up. I'm very thankful that my house is all hardwood with a few runners and door rugs (all ruined) and 2 very expensive area rugs (not touched, only by the grace of God). It also cost me a couple of nights' sleep. I'm extremely disappointed and saddened by the cost to myself and my poor sick dogs. BTW...it did not hit both dogs at the same time. I quit giving to Daisy because of the vomiting, but continued with Lexi because, at first, no bad side effects. Daisy's vomiting stopped within 2 days. Then a few days later, Lexi started with the diarrhea. I took her off and the effects lingered for 3 more days until the vet visit and meds.

Tried this on older dogs (one had bad liver, other had kidney issues). I think it actually helped them for a few months, but in the end they were both too far gone. I take greens powder daily myself.
