Its not the sturdy bench in parks... I didn't expect that... Its a pretty looking and light weight structure. I sit on it most evenings in the garden.. Perfect. With some basic skills of using a screw driver and perseverance I alone assembled it.. Dont rush and it will all come together.

If I had my time again I would not have bought this bench because it is only just sturdy enough. But it gets 4 stars because it is much cheaper than many others and we should not expect high quality at bargain prices. For £52 it looks good and it just about supports my weight (I an 14 stone). It is quite small in depth and I feel like I am perching on it rather than sitting in it (I am 5ft 10") but what could I have expected for the price? It took me a couple of hours to assemble - because I was determined to follow the absolutely useless, but technically correct instructions rather than resort to YouTube as another reviewer did (more fool me!).

Easy to build, great looking garden seat.

Delivered on time boxed ok there is a slat of wood with damage on it but i suppose this may have happened in transit. Ive only given 3 stars as i think the description is not very good cast iron legs yes. But the back panel is plastic the rose section it doesnt really state that in the description although it says cast iron.wood and plastic so the back panel seems quite light weightI. Took about 30 mins to assemble and came with some extra washers nuts bolts nust in case. bought this thinking it was like a bench ive had for 20 plus years similar the only difference is the back panel as stated the rose design is plastic so i guess wont be as durable or heavy as if it were cast. It can take my weight 16 st it does seems a bit flimsy but if youre using it to sit on and not sleep on should be ok

Well they do say that 'you get what you pay for'. It looks a really good bargain and the rose design is certainly attractive. Its very easy to miss that the panel is not wrought iron like the leg but is actually plastic. There are raw edges on some of the wood that have not been treated at all and this item might last a while but certainly not for long. One slat is slightly cracked after only a short time and normal use.

built this in just over an hour with no mistakes, and the wife and I are OAPs. Forget the instructions you get, hopeless, go on YouTube and see the video, and after that, it's a dawdle. Once built it looks really good and my 20st weight didn't break it, so ill be out sitting on it with my cigars on the hot summer days, and yes, it's definitely worth the money
