I bought this to loosen up some frozen zirks. If you need it, you need it and this performs great. I have used it on about 6 zirks and I think the key to this is to be patient. I used pb blaster it seems to work better than wd 40 and let it soak, hitting it a couple times in about a week. It freed them up enough to take grease again. I used a 3lb hammer and really smacked it fairly hard and many many times, using a couple cylinders full of pb. It held up well, I would say to make sure you can get a straight shot on it as with any thing a glancing blow would probably bend it.Edit: My original tool was stolen along with my other tools in Summer 2019 so I ordered this tool again. I am sad to say it is no longer an effective tool as they have changed the design to having a two part cylinder. The oil now just squirts out of the o ring instead of being forced into the zirk. Disappointing to say the least and I am on the hunt for a one piece designed tool.

I just got this tool. I ordered it new, but what I got was a used one. It was scotched taped in the package rather poorly and had remnants of oil running out of it. I will post later to see how it works. There might be a part missing inside, not sure yet.

If you have been questioning whether or not you need this, just buy it already. I had a hard to reach and protected fitting on an outboard motor jack plate that had seized up. I tried a similar tool from a local "not to be named" auto parts store and had not been able to clean the fitting. This rejuvenator has an O-ring system that keeps everything air/liquid tight during operation. Followed the instructions to a "T" filled it with 3 in 1, and FIRST try I get the fitting unplugged. Now I have a greased and happy jack plate to get back to fishing with.

Worked great on first use! Really pleased with the value for the price. It came with some extra seals.

Very disappointed in this product.Followed the directions that came with the item. Filled with WD40 as recommended. Placed tool on the grease fitting and it did not fit correctly. Still, I attempted to use the item as per the instructions, I hit the tool with a hammer and nothing happened, struck it a couple more times and the only thing that happened was the end the attaches to the grease fitting came off..Don’t waste your time or money purchasing this tool……

I thought it needed to fit over the grease fitting. Once I understood to just push it and hold it, it worked so well. Very happy with it now that I understand how to use it.

If you have ever had a locked up zerk fitting and thought the only solution was to replace it, you need one of these. Super simple to use and small enough to keep in your tool box or pocket. You simply fill the reservoir with any light oil, place the open end over your clogged zerk, and tap it with a hammer. The oil is forced into the zerk and it is open again and ready to accept grease. I have used this several times and only on one occasion did it fail to free up the grease fitting on my tractor. That fitting had to be replaced. Anyway, this is brilliant and works like magic.

Got three plugged zirks working in no time. O ring broke on first try so will need a supply of those handy. Great idea and a must have now in my toolbox for maintaining our farm equipment.
