Far too thin for restringing chimes, contrary to what you might read on the internet. Tiny roll of cord. Also, non-returnable. Choose something else!

This was the perfect size string to redo my wind chimes, appears to be strong and flexible. May be a little thin for larger projects, but a good size for wind chimes.

I wanted to use this for wind chimes as I read a review that someone else used it for restringing chimes. I live in a windy area so when I received the product, it was not as thick as I thought it would be. I wanted to return it and found out it was not returnable. I would have never paid this price if I really knew what I was getting. I buy a lot of items from Amazon and have only returned a few so I was surprised to see that this could not be returned.

This stuff is super sturdy. I used it to rig up some shorter-length curtains. If you have a DIY home project this is good because it's thicker and more substantial than regular thread. It's holding up my curtains well and was easy to thread through the window apparatus and the opening on the top of the curtain. The material is smooth and surprisingly strong. They give you a lot of material spooled into a package about a quarter to a half size of your thumb. If you need something thicker than regular thread this is it.

I bought this to use in cord cutting ceremonies, and it works perfectly. All spells have been successful. I guess you could use it for crafting too.

In trying to judge whether an item is suitable, forming an opinion from a photo image is usually a start point, in this instance the twine looked thick enough to do the trick, however in this case what arrived was similar to a standard bobbin of cotton for sewing etc, may be strong enough to do the job but thinner than was anticipated, but can’t fault the price, ‘you get what you pay for’.

Thin, sturdy thread for beading and jewelry making. The colour is exactly what I thought it would be. I bought this mainly for micro-macrame and super thin kumihimo. It is especially good for beading. It is thinner than embroidery floss and not ideal for friendship bracelets. After cutting strings be certain to secure the ends as this cord will unravel.

Read the reviews and felt this would work for reconstructing our wind chimes. From the picture, it appeared to be the same size as existing. The diameter was much smaller and I felt it would not work. Put away for future use.

I adore this thread, it's exactly what I needed. The spool is a little smaller than I expected (I pictured it being larger in my mind.. lol) but it's pretty tough/durable and perfect for what I need it for. It also has a little "shine", perfect!
