Awesome Tone. Trying to learn classical guitar at the age of 38 after 14 years of what was my first attempt. After researching well in internet was looking to buy this guitar. Very nice and balanced tone, my one is with spruce top. Excellent playability. The guitar was delivered in great condition. At 29000 it is nothing but a steal compared to other available guitars in that price range.

Love my new Codoba C5 SP and excited to own such a Beauty. The sound is awesome as would have been expected from this brand. Strings are easy to tune and to play. Looking to many years of playing this guitar.

I purchased both a Yamaha C40 and this Cordoba C5. Packaging for both was minimal. The C40 arrived damaged but the C5 was OK. I thought the C40 was a decent guitar. It had a good sound and playability was good. It did have a strong smell of glue. The C5 on the other hand is a significant step up in quality. It also came with an allen wrench for adjusting the truss rod. It looks like a whole lot more care was taken in building the C5 over the C40. I think ordering a C40 is a hit or miss. If you can afford the step up in price, go for the C5. If not, you may have to order a couple C40s to find a good one. Anyway, I'm holding on to the C5, its a beautiful guitar with nice tone right out of the box.

The guitar is good. the action could have a lower setup though. This is probably adjustable. The main issue were these marks (see picture). They seem like pressure points. As if this area of the body was smashed by some weight. I was too lazy do return it, since it plays well. But if you care a lot about the visual you would be more disappointed than I did when I noticed these marks.

I bought this guitar per recommendation of a person who is a guitar player, musician, teacher and luthier I am a beginner, the guitars looks very well made, sounds very good, it came with a little defect from factory but too small that is doesnโt bother me, the expert check it and his comment was all positive, I am enjoying it, sound very good, we just replaced the string for a better quality, recommended for beginners Up date 4/25/24. The small defect mentioned before is getting bigger I will contact the factory. Up date 3/26/25 After the first contact with the factory in California and after sending all the information requested to proceed with the warranty nobody contacted me even after so many emails and calls, the guitar was never fixed, quite disappointed with their service.
