The storage drawer capacity is good but they are made of some kind of plastic. We have found this bed to be very sturdy. The option to show in room was almost perfectly accurate. The drawers do not have rails to guide them but they do lock and stay in place. Drawers are large but the amount of weight they can hold is limited due to the thin plastic material.
