Affordable Backyard 80's Style Fun!
After watching the neighbors sand and stain their wood play structure only for their kiddos to eventually out grow and lose interest in the massive structure, I wasn't about to go down that road. Plus, kids in the 80's had plenty of fun on metal plays sets. Our only requirement was that it had a glider - and this is the only option we could find that has it! It arrived quickly and it took two of us to assemble the structure in around two hours. It takes two people to assemble for sure. We put it together in our garage and walked it to the backyard the next morning. Overall it is good quality and we liked that the colors are not obnoxious and loud as all our neighbors can see it. We have had it up for two months and it has gotten lots of play time. We ordered the anchors and an extra swing that matches. The anchors would be needed once kids are 35+ pounds or multiple bigger kids are swinging on it.

Decent swingset for the price, would buy again!
I thought this metal swing set was great, because it's big, has 2 flexible swings, a glider that one or two kids can push themselves, a lawn chair swing, a plastic "trapeze" swing for taller kids, and of course, a slide. Yes, the instructions were a little lacking at times, but put your heads together (took 3 adults 3 hours), and you'll put it together like anything else. It is a Flexible Flyer, says made in USA (in TN), but most of the plastic accessories are made in China, if that matters to you. It came in one giant long box, which didn't make the driver very happy, but one of our strong guys was able to drag it to the location he wanted it by himself. Doesn't come with tiedowns, so best to buy that separate to make sure the entire swing set is secure to the ground, but don't need if it's just a couple small kids. Again, it's one of the bigger sets I saw, not many have the lawn chair swing, which is great for kids who can't sit on a swing by themselves or need to be more secure, I like the swings are flexible so they are more comfortable, and for the price, can't beat it, I'd buy it again.

Loving it!
My daughter and I took turns putting it together with help from kiddos (3yrs & under 1yr}. It took us a good portion of one day but was as easy to assemble as described. No missing parts! Seems good quality. I expect it will last for 10 plus years. Only downside is the slide will be nearly useless in about 3 years because it is so small.

Very disappointed
We are very disappointed with our purchase. The swing set was delivered missing most of the hardware. The hardware that did come with it was a mixture of chrome, anonidized, pot metal, with different fittings as in Allen head, flat head, Philips head. The hardware was also all different sized. Some of the hardware that was sent looked used. C clips for the swings were missing. The rods for the swings were delivered bent (see-saw rods, bench swing rods, and the slide rods). There were no end caps for the main cross beam. The floor of the double bench swing was delivered bent. The ad states this is for 24mo to14 year old kids, but the slide says not to use it if you are over 40lbs. Additionally, the kit purchased separately to secure the swing set to the ground just slid right off and had to be modified to work.

Well. I dunno....
I should start this review by saying, I would have expected less had I paid less for it. If it had been in the 150 range I would have been more forgiving. But since it was in the 250 range.....im going to be brutally honest. I just dont feel it was worth 250. It arrives in one large box. We assembled it this weekend. Directions are not concise and can be a bit vague at times. Took 2 1/2 hours to get it up and going. Would have taken 3 except we didnt recieve all of the parts. An entire bag of nuts and bolts were missing for the multiple passenger lawn swing. I have all of the parts but no way to assemble them. Its the weekend of course so I will have to wait awhile to get my email answered by the seller. That sucks. Kind of a big mistake in my opinion. Haha. Until I hear back the pieces are in my garage awaiting assembly. Also, the cap ends for the top bar arrived cracked. That sucks. I was not impressed by the slide. Seems pretty flimsy. If my 28lb kiddo uses it, I notice it flexing. I expected a much better slide. It isn't the easiest to slide down either. Not as slick/smooth as I would expect a slide to be. It came with some major discolorations straight out of the box and I'm a little concerned about that as well. Pretty sure that the slide end wont last long. Disappointing. Now, the air glider is in great shape and sturdy. The two individual swings are sturdy and in great shape. They are made with the flex seats which I really like. The monkey bars seem to be sturdy and my kids enjoy swinging from them (with assistance). Overall, I think the set is overpriced for all of the issues I forsee. If it was a hundred less I would have been more understanding.

enjoy it tremendously
My husband put it together in no time. My grandchildren, ages two and four, enjoy it tremendously! The slide has a couple of discolored spots, but it doesn't affect the product. It has brought a lot of happiness to my grandchildren and of course to us as grandparents.

Good value.
Good swing set. Only drawback is the slide is a little flimsy. You also used to be able to lift it to mow under it and with this design you cannot. I wrestled a little with a few of the bolts alignment but overall found the instructions to be manageable- i should add that I write instructions for a living so I am not easily overwhelmed by written instructions.

Poor Quality Control: Do Not Recommend
Purchased this for kids Christmas. When it came I inventoried the parts. A crossbar which was essential to the safety and stability of the set was missing. Contacted the seller who within two days sent another set. Very grateful for their willingness to send another so quickly. It made it for Christmas. Upon an initial inventory of the main components in the second set, it appeared that all items were present. The swing set itself was significantly different from the first one we were sent. I guess there are different versions of the same thing and they send whatever they have in stock. Upon setting up it became apparent not all the pieces were present. I was sent the wrong hardware for the trapeze so had to buy hardware at Home Depot to assemble. Almost every screw was crossthreaded out of the box so it made it significantly more difficult to assemble. The bolts aren’t quality either, so the fact they were cross threaded and weak, two broke during installation requiring me to go to Home Depot and buy more hardware. The assemblies that go on the top bar for the see-saw thing and seated swing didn’t fit the top bar. The bar was pinched incorrectly so we had to modify the top bar to get it to fit. Moral of the story is this is not a quality swing set. The quality control and materials were extremely poor. You ultimately get what you pay for I suppose. Just wish it didn’t take having to set back the first, followed by so much modification, dealing with missing/cheap parts, and putting in extra money towards the swing set at a price range over $200. As far as performance goes: the top bar flexes significantly while 1 child is swinging. The legs also left off the ground during swinging. It only become more predominate with 2+ children swinging. There should be a part that secures the legs to the ground.
