Good dog food for a chunkster
My vet recommended this food for my slight chunkster of a dog. We have been using it for over a year and definitely helps maintain a healthy weight. Especially in the winter when getting outside for long walks is more tricky. I think my dog would give it 5 stars for taste, she always eats it with no problems and she can be picky.

She didn't think she needed a diet
I’m sure this is a great dog food, but when I served it to my chubby Maltese, she was offended. She insisted she’s not overweight and doesn’t need to be on a diet, and her feelings were clearly hurt. Meanwhile, our Havanese was happy to step in and eat it instead.

My dog loves it
My dog loves it but I didn’t see any weight loss. I give him about two thirds the recommended amount and he still isn’t losing any weight. He is quite a chow hound and is definitely not satisfied. Always looking for food even though I add string beans to help satisfy his appetite…
