A couple of things to note: The maximum temperature (up to 220 °C) is hot enough for my thick hair, but if you have very fine hair I’d stick with the lower setting to avoid damage. It doesn’t have a digital display, so you just set low/high — not a big deal, but something to be aware of. I wouldn’t buy these again. They don’t hold the hair and it slips through, I have burnt my hands fingers 3 times in one usage. It also caused frizz on the ends of my hair which is now short and the burnt hair is extremely visible

Very Handy to use.

I’ve had a Remington hair straightener for years (diff model) and thought it was great. Broke after 10 years so I got this one. It’s just not very good, it does something but I can’t get my hair really straight with it and it takes a lot longer. I’ve used the highest setting but it feels like the heat just isn’t transferring to my hair, or it’s not actually hitting 220c. The bargain is tempting but I’d recommend just waiting til you have the extra 10 or 20 quid and get the Remington one with the adjustable heat dial- that’s the one I had and it was really good.
