I'll be honest, I didn't buy these for my hair but I tried them and they work really well on my frizzy curly hair....I'm just too lazy to go through all that.What I do use them for is crafting. Specifically, ironing out feathers I've made from wool fibres. Or rose petals made from the same. Sometimes even a mouse ear. If I ever need to get a really smooth finish on anything needlefelted, I use these and they're great.Heat up fast, have an on/off switch on the handle and a clasp to keep them closed when not in use.They are also good on hair, if you can be bothered :)

I wouldn’t buy these again.They don’t hold the hair and it slips through, I have burnt my hands fingers 3 times in one usage.It also caused frizz on the ends of my hair which is now short and the burnt hair is extremely visible

A friend showed me how to use straighteners to make your hair curly, so I bought these and they've been a game-changer.Pretty basic, but absolutely do the job.Heat up super quick, as does the end, so be careful with your fingers!Love doing my hair with them!

Okay so I like the length of the plates they are just right? When you first turn the straighteners on the new smell isn't very pleasant, but even now after 4 X uses I am still smelling that newness smell, it hasn't gone yet?! I'm hoping it will go soon? It has a switch just on the inside which is good, and a lock on the outside? They warm up quite quickly but it takes ages to cool down? They are ok but I wouldn't say they are the best you can get?
