Good Quality Wheelchair
Perfect, Good Quality wheelchair. I did not know what to expect as this was a fast, last minute purchase. The chair is comfortable and smooth riding. It's also sturdy and solid. The lifts will hold your legs up just fine as well (I'm not petite). It arrived already put together and folded which was great as I would not have been able to handle it otherwise. I'm glad I was able to get this and at a decent price also!

I am a 300 lb man and It works great.
I needed a wheelchair as I was having a leg operation that needed an elevated leg rest for 6 weeks. I purchased this item and it is comfortable, maneuverable and works great for my issue. I do not need a long term wheelchair, although this one seems very sturdy. The price was very good. It needed a couple of minor adjustments but that was easily taken care of (breaks were a little too tight).

Almost Perfect
Overall, this is a great wheelchair. Great price. Easy to maneuver, a good size (18"seat) to get through doorways. The problem I had was that instructions for assembly, which, to be fair, was just how to attach the foot/leg rests, were not included. It seemed simple enough, but when I put them on, it made no sense. I called my more mechanically adept boyfriend who came over, looked at it for a couple of minutes, and realized that the foot rests had been switched. They were on the wrong attachments. I had called customer support before that, and the representative was nice, but I was send instructions without illustrations, like "attach doohickey to thingamajig...". I have to suspect that this was a return, otherwise it would have been a factory error, and I would think some instructions would have been included. I've been assembling all the necessary accoutrements for my newly disabled mother, and have never had a problem, as long as there was illustrated guidance. Another thing, which seems to be an issue with other wheelchairs, too. The brake is really difficult to set. My mother is 99. I am a "youthful" 76, but it was really hard for me, too. The solution is a simple fix; wheelchair brake extenders. For under $10, available on this site. To put them on, you need to remove the rubber covers on the brake lever, stick them on (I used a rubber mallet to get them on nice and tight). It was like night and day, so easy now.

Comfortable, well designed, and easy to use!
I bought this wheelchair for my daughter who had revision knee surgery. I also bought the backpack that the company makes. I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla and it easily fits in the trunk. I have been using it for about a month now and it has turned out to be one of the best purchases I made! It is so nice and taking my daughter to her various appointments has been very easy! Previously I used a travel chair and it was so hard on me but using this has allowed my daughter to be comfortable and me not to get so worn out! It fits through doorways without any problems and navigating ramps small spaces is a breeze! I highly recommend this chair and the backpack that goes with it. The backpack holds all my daughter's medical records, our purses, and a water bottle! Connecting the leg supports is very easy. I might mention that I have already lost the plastic cover to one of the metal handles. They are loose to begin with and losing one was not that hard to do even though I read about this problem from a previous post!

A perfect buy for a non- permanent chair
This walker is not for someone who will be in it permanently. It is an excellent intermediate buy for our needs. It is a bit more expensive than the other “lightweights” out there but, I will be using it from for some of my trips out and about for now on as this horrid disease advances and while I can still walk. After this I guess I will move on to a scooter. BUT NOT YET LOL! Also, I am quite heavy and I wanted something wide aand sturdy. This fits the bill! Only assembly was the leg rests that snap in Smooth ride on carpet or tile Did not use outside I can walk a bit so I do not take inside restroom stalls No purse or bag seems to work well for me .....wheel get in way so you carry on your lap and hook on handles when stopped... Perhaps a VERY shorthandled bag might work? I purchased a seat and a back cushion for my comfort. (I have severe spinal arthritis and 11 compromised discs) With those cushions, I am very. Comfortable. Lightweight and was easy for husband with impaired back to slip into trunk of our Altima Folds closed easily by pulling up on seat ... I would recommend purchasing a 6 -10” velcro or bungee to place around handles to keep the chair closed if collapsing in a restaurant etc. It is true the leg rests may “pop up” to a higher (sticking out) position but the lever on each side allows for an easy drop to the lowest down position quickly. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Perfect for my Intermittent use. (I use a walker most of the time) I even used the chair as a walker when I got tired of sitting! My family loves it! I love it.

Well Worth the Money
Did not have any idea of what to look for when purchasing a wheelchair, however did recognize the Drive brand name. After doing a little research chose this one for the price point and wider size. Very sturdy and easy to use. Hint: when buying a wider chair, measure the internal doorways. This was about an inch too big to go through the bedroom door which still works since he can use a walker to get to the bed. Very good value for the money and you do not need to spend hundreds more when this model has all the features needed.

Like all wheel chairs, you must be careful of the center of gravity.
I have to say that the first product that came was missing the foot rests, which made it pretty much useless. However the replacement that came was all in order, and hassle free. It did take a while for the replacement, so i did have to rent a wheel chair for 2 months. Kind of an inconvenience, and disappointment, but still it was worth the wait. Pros: - Easy fold up for travell. - Adjustable and adjustable rising leg rests - Sturdy seating, even for my heavier family members - arm rests can be swung out of the way for easy placement of the chair at a table. - comfortable even for extended use - solid rubber tires have good grip on most surfaces Cons: - carbon fiber style wheel spokes make it light, but it feels brittle and i worry they may crack at some point. - velcro that holds the back of the seat bottom to the bottom of the seat back sometimes slips, making it feel like your butt might pop through. Overall, it's a very decent wheelchair value for the price. It's the preferred brand of many of the medical centers near me.

Good wheelchair for the price.
Attractive and sturdy wheelchair for the price. Could of used a better manual. Need to go to the manufacturer web site to find instructions for adjustments under questions section. Chair is easily adjusted for two height levels and foot rest. Light weight, easy to maneuver and fold up. Needs a seat cushion if you're going to sit in it for any length of time.
