This morning I had a nice walk. It does pop open with one push of a button. Upon returning home and closing the umbrella, I was happy to see that it was conveniently dry because of the folding design; however, the reviews that say it closes with one push of a button are misleading. After it pops closed, you still need to push hard on the wet end to shorten the handle to its smallest length. I look forward to testing in windy conditions.Addition after a few weeks: I'm liking this umbrella more and more.
