Just as bright as the major brand similar light!
UPDATE 03/24/2014After contacting the seller just 3 days ago about warranty on the defective light, I had a response in about 30 minutes. They were shipping me a replacement under warranty with a prepaid label to send the defective one back to them. Didn't even have to temporarily pay for the replacement! I already have it in my hands today! Can't beat that for a warranty response these days! I'm going to chalk that up to a random product failure and reinstate my original 4 stars (read the full review why I didn't go with 5 stars).UPDATE 03/21/2014On March 8,2014 just a little over a month, one of these failed already. It started just blinking on and off steady similar to a turn signal. I had it synced with the other one to alternate a strobe pattern and it started doing that on one side. I've lowered my rating to 2 stars pending how a warranty replacement is handled. I'm willing to conceded that an item will fail once in a while, even right away, so we'll see how they handle it. I'll update when I have more info.UPDATE: 01/25/2014Finally got these installed. This was on a 2009 Chevy Crew Cab. These trucks have two separate bulbs for the turn signals, so my intent was to remove the bottom one, and replace it with these LED strobes in order to not have to drill a hole in the light housings, which are double wall and a pain in the rear to do.The light was a perfect fit in the hole, had just enough room for the screws. I decided to not use the included gasket but instead just silicone around the light, so I could get it to penetrate into the light housing as far as possible. It looks great in there and the housing reflects it nicely. You'd never know it's there until it's on, and then it looks great. Plenty bright! Did of course have to extend the wires as I expected in my original review. If they could make these with 6-10 ft of wire on each, they would be perfect and warrant 5 stars easily! It's my only complaint! More than enough light patterns to satisfy anyone and easy to sync up. They pretty much wire up just like any of the other major brand hide-away LEDs I've worked with.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I was a bit skeptical after first seeing these on that major auction website. You have to be diligent when buying LEDs as quality and brightness can vary widely. So I ended up buying it from the same seller via Amazon, because of Amazon's great return policy should they not be as good as I hoped.Well they arrived today (a day early, with a weekend in the middle between Christmas and New Year's no less) and I couldn't wait to test them out. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. These are every bit as bright as the Whelen Vertex (I have a set of those as well). Comes with the housings if you want to surface mount it (usually the Vertex does not), and the flasher is built into the head, rather than being a separate piece in the cable (like the Vertex has). Can't wait to get them installed. The only complaint I have is the wiring is too short. It's about 6-8 inches. The Vertex has long wiring, which is very helpful if you are syncing up a pair of these. So just know you'll be extending 3 wires (maybe 4 if you want a switch on the pattern change) to get these all hooked up. Aside from that, so far I am pleased. Can't speak for the longevity of the LEDs at this point since I just got them. If they last as long as the Vertex (that I have had like 4 years now), I'll be perfectly happy. These are interesting in that they are bi-LED, meaning there are 2 sets of 3 LEDs in each light head. Some of the flash patterns use these in 2 sets, some use them as one set, which makes some interesting possibilities if you ordered them in two colors and set the patterns to alternate the colors. The down side to that is they will be half as bright (only activating 3 LEDs at a time). When set to flash using all 6 LEDS, they are plenty bright in daylight even!Knocked one star off for the short wiring, otherwise it would be a 5 star product!

Very surprised
I was pretty excited about how bright these things are from an off brand. I'll be watching out for more of their stuff.

On the Rear of my POV – Brite enough
I do not use my POV for traffic control. So the two strobes I use here are just to reassure people, who I just cut off, that I cut them off for a reason. (I have other lights to the front and sides). They are more than bright enough in the day light.A problem I had: I planned to run all my Lampus lights through SolarBlast Dash light (SBWL 26). The Lamphus dash/deck light uses the yellow wire to select the flashing pattern. These (SEHA 16) use the blue wire as do the Grille Lights (SBLH04). I do not care what flashing pattern I have as long as it flashes red to blue and does so in a reasonable pattern. So I tapped the blue wire to the frame until I got a good pattern (I think the 3rd tap) then capped the wire. I do not plan on ever changing the flash pattern. All my Lights run through one power switch at the dash. If you set the up wrong, your red / blue lights will flash bright purple. Cool, but not helpful. After a month with them and 20 or so runs, they are great. I live in a small town just big enough for a Walmart. So I am not fighting crazy traffic.

Love Them!
i've used this strobes before in another vehicle. Lamphus makes quality products. Bright and durable. I am using them as backup lights as well as strobes for emergencies. Great looking light for a decent price.
