But the problem is you can’t find anything to put on them. The maple syrup sold in places like M&S and Tesco generally taste like a caramelize sugar syrup, with a faint taste of maple — almost like a very light treacle syrup. It’s completely disappointing, expensive and often unavailable (sold out). However this stuff is fabulous. I just had my first batch of pancakes with it and it was beyond delicious.
