D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures: Young Green Dragon

I was quite pleased with this dragon, and painting it was quite fun. I think that this size of dragon is the best value for the size. The wings are spread apart, so getting in between them to paint is easy. The sculpt is quite lovely, and the material feels fairly durable.

Arrived very quickly, perfect condition. Excellent quality. Took paint readily. Sort of on the smallish size.

Absolutely awesome miniature. I can’t wait to settle in and paint this beauty.

Another Nolzur's mini I ordered where the packaging is damaged so not a great gift idea. First off mini looks great. Love the movement and details of the dragon. The post that it sits on to give it the flying effect is terrible. It is kind of just balanced there more than actually holding it up. Size is great compared to normal pc minis and comparable to the other chromatic dragons. See pic for size comparison. Painted mini is a standard 28-32mm pc.

Wow what a great sculpt. Pros: -Amazing pose -Great price -Really easy to paint provided you know how to properly use an ink wash and drybrush it Cons: -Size is wonky. Much larger base than normal young green dragon. personally I prefer this for centerpiece models so it doesn't bother me. -People unfamiliar with painting minis may shy away from the challenge. -Base was slightly warped in box and required some work to flatten it out

Nolzurs are good quality miniatures. I've purchased the Gold and Blue Dragons previously. The Green dragon has good sculpt and was easy to prime and paint. The stand holding the dragon in flight has no issues. I plan to purchase other dragons in this Nolzurs line.

These WizKids dragons are excellent value for money. The details are great and they take paint well. This is the perfect addition to a beginner DMs set for running Venomfang in the Starter Set “Lost Mines of Phamdelver” campaign. As an experienced DM who loves getting new players into Dungeons and Dragons I got this for that exact purpose. Even if you don’t have any other minis, start with this one to surprise your players as they battle their first ever dragon! This is a definite recommend from me.

Of all of this series, the young green is the easiest to paint, has the sturdiest stand, and is in the best pose, in my opinion. I really enjoyed painting this one and I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I'm running my sister and her family through Lost Mine of Phandelver, so the green was needed.

Ich liebe Drachen. Habe viele sachen mit drachen. Habe bis jetzt 4 davon gekauft. Will auch die andern. So, jetzt zum grüne. Es sieht gut aus mit viele details. Es gibt vieleicht viele leute die es nach der abbild auf der packung bemahlt oder nach dnd standards. Ich habe alle meine mit metalische farben bemahlt.

I'm happy with the quality of the Dragon and am looking forward to painting it. The only problem i would say is the position it sits on the stand in. Bit awkward but still ok.
