Reliable extender for 2 storey house
Great wifi router - has solved the wifi issues we had in our 2 storey house with garden where the wifi wouldn’t reach to the back part of the house and one of the upstairs bedrooms. Now all rooms receive the same fast connectivity and are connected to just one wifi name. Pretty well priced for what you get

Great but of kit!!
I bought 3 of these a few years back after my boss reccomended them. Wow what a great bit of advice that was! We were with Virgin Media at the time and we had just moved house. The Internet was awful. Intermittent and some of our devices just wouldn't connect. We got an engineer out who actually said we had too many devices and it can't cope! I did some research and sure enough the broadband providers supply sub standard routers that cannot handle many devices. Queue this Mesh solution! You turn your providers box into a modem and then plug this gadget into it. It's takes over and organises your wi-fi. Previous black spots in the house and garden are now serviced. All our devices connect and on the whole no issues (other than the odd one where you just reset once in a blue moon) The Deco app is good, you can see all the devices and what they are drawing from your Internet. You can lock it with a password and it has protection built in also. You can set up connection profiles for your kids. When mine were a bit younger and still at school I had a cut off at night so they had to go to sleep. You can see thier usage, you get a monthly report on how long they've been on the Internet and what sites they use the most. You have a pause button so you can instantly disconnect your child! There are age settings so it will block content that is not age appropriate. There are optimisation programs for getting the best out of your Internet. There is a camera detector so you can see if someone is spying on you. The list goes on. This particular model is probably a little outdated now. It may not support the higher broadband speeds , check the specs. However for the price it is well worth it. I have used with Virgin and Sky with no issues.

Good piece of kit
The Deco M4 is a great piece of kit. Purchased this to add to my current older E4 line up. E4 was limited to 100MBs via Ethernet where as the M4 has a Gigabit port, especially required after boosting internet speed in home. Using the M4 as the main unit connected to the router and using the older E4s as satellite units whole home is now connected at full speed rather than being limited. This was all easily set up through the deco app, bit fiddly switching main units, so i just opted for a new install and was all done within 10-15 minutes These do run at wifi 5 which is more than enough with the satellites around the home, if you have a larger home then suggest wifi 6 variants and more space between hubs. The units themselves a well designed and look great on the shelf, there is a light that comes out the top which can be a bit bright if in bedroom but can easily be covered or hidden away. Size of Unit is 7.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide fairly compact. Have had no issues with signal strength around the home and garden and reaches quite far out, automatically switching between deco units for best signal strength.

Super fast wifi
I bought this because I moved to the Philippines and the wifi is super fast with it. I've measured the wifi speed online and it's so much faster. Definitely works. All you do is plug it into the router with an ethernet cable. Highly recommend.

Made a big difference to the dead spots in my home
This has made a big difference to the dead spots in my home. It was fairly straightforward to set up for a novice too. It is definitely more effective than the wi-fi extenders I've had through the ISP.

Look elsewhere
Better mesh systems out there. Max speed over network is about half that at router.
