Pair with Quality Rotors for best results
I have a 2017 Subaru STI and ran these for a while with stock rotors. They performed better than the stock pads but not a huge difference. Paired these with some upgraded slotted rotors and there is a huge difference in stopping distance now. When cold, there is a noticeable difference in performance compared to when they get warmed up; but if it doesnt take long for the pads to heat up and give you the braking power you crave. Im to the point my brake/rotor setup out performs what my current tires can handle. As for noise from the pads, anyone complaining about it either isnt using the supplied grease or is not thoroughly cleaning the calipers when they change out the pads each time. Only noise i get is during intial bedding process.

Fit and work great on 2005 STI
I recently purchased a 2005 STI and guess what, it needed the brakes done right away. Did some research about the different high performance options and decided to try these out. I wanted a pad that would be good on the street but also allow for some autocrossing for fun. The pads fit perfectly and so far have performed great on the street. I read some reviews that these pads dusted more than some other pads, that can be expected of high performance pads and I have not experienced anything out of the ordinary on my car. I was disappointed that they did not include backing plates, make sure you save the ones off your old pads and put them on with some of the included grease between the back of the pad and the plate and the plate and the caliper. They are also very quiet, no squeal at all.

Bites hard and less brake dust!!!
Easy to install on my 2019 Honda Accord using Hyundai Genesis Brembo brakes. It came with grease as well. Just make sure you clean everything before applying the grease to applicable parts. I broke the pads in using their instructions and now they stop on a dime. No weird noises and much less brake dust.

Eliminates Squeals from Honda Civic Type R's OEM Brembo Brake Pads
These are reasonably priced OEM replacement pads with pretty good performance. For owners of the 2017/2018 FK8 Honda Civic Type R Touring, I can confirmed that these pads will totally eliminate the horrible brake squeals from the OEM pads. However, the trade off is that these do not provide the same bite as the OEM Brembo brakes (which are awesome), as would be expected. Nevertheless, the braking power is acceptable. The loud squeals were making me pull out my hair, so I love these.

Great replacement pads for 2011 STI
Great pads, these perform at least as well as stock on a 2011 Subaru STI. They definitely like to be warmed up a little bit before you really apply force to them (otherwise they feel a little bit too "grabby", and can cause my ABS system to flip out and trip the ABS light, most likely by causing partial lockup of individual wheels). Warming the pads up can be done by applying reasonable braking force for a few seconds, perhaps like going from 70mph to a full stop with 1/3 braking force, or coming off the interstate to find a short off-ramp. Once warmed up, there is virtually no fade, and they will take just about all the abuse you can throw at them on the street (and light track use). I can tell there is a considerable amount more dust with these than the stock 2011 STI pads, but that could also be due in part to the fact that I also went to drilled + slotted rotors when I replaced the pads. I probably wouldn't recommend these for a full race setup, but for someone who does a little aggressive street driving and perhaps some autocross from time to time, these are a great replacement from the stock pads.

but these are excellent for daily driving
Bought these for our 2017 Civic Type R. The factory pads have more bite, but these are excellent for daily driving. The squeal is gone and brake dust is almost nonexistent. They definitely fit the bill and it’s easy enough to slide the OE pads back in if needed. I marked them as I removed them to put them back in the same place. Also, it was easy enough to push the caliper pistons back using a wedge of wood and my fingers, no special tools needed.

Not for normal use
Subaru WRX STI 2012 More dust than original Brakes Rotor eaters Not noise free more creaking than squealing Stopping distance is better I would only recommend these for those that are going to do the full set up and change their rotors/discs and drive their cars hard. My wife does the school run no heavy braking is done and these do not perform better on the lower end than any other brake pad.

Hawk Performance HB453F. 585 HPS brake pad exceed performance.
It is hard to tell the quality of brake pads in only one week of use. I also installed ATL Drilled brake rotors so how to separate one from the other in performance gain is difficult. I know that I am very impressed with the brake performance of the new combination. The pads are not grabby, but do give a much better initial bite, and overall stopping power is improved also. Also on slippery roads there is great brake modulation. I purchase Hawk brake pads because of their quality reputation and I have been more than impressed with them so far.

I use these on my Evo X MR with Stoptech Sport rotors, Brembo calipers for a mix of street and track. They are not noisy when installed properly and they do not fade after hard track use. Minimal brake dust is just an added bonus.

Work great and easy to install on our 2012 Evo MR. Much better than the ones we could get at Canadian Tire.
