I use this on my motorcycle. It mounted easy. The rubber tabs fell off immediately while mounting and the two that stayed fell off within a couple days. I would recommend getting other rubber grips with 3M glue.Used for several months, and it works fine with my phone. I tighten it and it holds. But if there is nothing in the mount, then it slowly unscrews and can fall apart. I usually tighten it after every ride. I also put a rubber band on it to keep it from unscrewing all the way.The screw mechanism needs some way to LOCK. Definitely needs better rubber grips.

A phone holder was a useful accessory, and after spending a good amount of time searching for one. I ended up picking this one as I liked that metal look, unlike those plastic ones that don't seem to match the look of my handlebars.The box comes with instructions, but the installation is pretty much self-explanatory. Something that seemed off, was the fact that the two screws were facing me instead of the opposite side. You can actually see the threads from the screw protruding outside, which is something I dislike. It ruins the look of it. I wish they came with caps or a similar thing to hide them.Unfortunately, it barely fits my phone because of the case I have, thus, I have to unscrew the knob almost all the way out so I can secure my phone.The biggest flaw I noticed is that when I don't have my phone on the holder the nob unscrews all the way out itself when I am riding. I know this happens because of the high vibration of my motorcycle but it was a deal-breaker when I saw it. I got around this by tightening the screw really hard so it doesn't get loose when I am not using it. This is very inconvenient. Lesson learned, next time I will probably pick a mount with grips that expand and contract that I see everywhere.

I have a credit card holder on the back of my phone case, the phone holder would not hold the phone case with the credit cards on the backside of them. I need a larger I’m grip around the phone to hold about 3/4 of an inch.

This is a sleek-looking phone holder! It was very easy to install and has decent adjustability. I have two complaints. One, I wish the screws could be installed so they point away from the phone, or down toward the ground. Second, because of the shape of the knob, is it is difficult to get it tight enough. It would be better if the knob were a "wing" style, which is easier to work w/fingers. I worry about it coming loose when I ride on gravel or dirt trails.

Once I got it I put it on my bike and put my phone in it and went for a and it held up. Yay!

It just didn't work for me

This thing is impressively rock-solid. The only minor issue I had was that the rubber stickers you place in the corners ended up falling off. All of them. But with my case on the phone, they really weren’t necessary. If you intend to use this mount without a case, you may end up with some scratches on your phone if the rubber corners fall out as mine did. Other than that, I strongly recommend!
