I stumbled across this gin by accident and didn't expect much for the price but it's blooming lovely! Whitney Neil Rhubarb and Ginger will always be my ultimate fave but this Beefeater Pink Strawberry Flavoured Gin is a fab back up. Love it!

63 with a walking stick yet still I have to struggle to find ID?!?
This gin is still the best kept secret when it’s on offer. Despite the proliferation of delicious artisan ones, Beefeater is better than many of them and incredibly good value in these hard times. However and this is becoming absurd, the delivery person insisted I show ID. Now I’m 63, grey-haired and disabled with a walking stick?! . Compounded by the fact that the ID most Brits have is their passport or driving license and my passport expired (and frankly post Brexit it’s is far too costly to renew) and I only have a year left on my driving license, where will this leave me? A publican or a shopkeeper uses their intelligence and eyes to assess whether someone is underage and only if in serious doubt looks at some form of ID. I am clearly decrepit but it may well be that I have to stop buying (cheap) alcohol from Amazon:-(
