We've got your summer guide to sandals and these are at the top of the list. Nikki is crisp in genuine leather with cutout detailing, arch support and a memory foam insole. Dress them up pretty or for everyday wear pair with leggings, skirts, shorts- you name it. Designed with love, pediped footwear combines comfort and fashion into a shoe that is pediatrician recommended. Their construction enables babies to sense the ground beneath their feet as they learn how to walk, and to develop foot strength as they grasp with their little toes. pediped footwear is the 'next best thing to bare feet'. Review: Nikki pediped grip vs. Stride Rite SRT Tulip - For our 15-month old toddler, we tried the Stride Rite SRT Tulip Fisherman sandal before finding this shoe. The Stride Rite sandal seemed to be of good quality, but it was highly structured with a thicker leather body and thicker rubber sole and didn't fit the shape of our daughter's feet. Since they didn't seem likely to break in well for her, we ordered the pediped Nikki sandal as a replacement and couldn't be more pleased. The leather body is soft and pliable but still supportive, and the sole is flexible and grippy. The insole has good arch support and feels incredible, like walking on a cloud...it must be lined with some sort of plushy memory foam or something. Previous reviews state that the cross strap velcros on both sides, but this was not the case. It's attached to the rest of the body on the inside and has a velcro closure on the outside of the foot; this works great for us. Our daughter has been wearing a size 5 sneaker all late winter/spring, and the size 5 Nikki was nearly too small, so we ordered the 5.5 instead. It leaves plenty of room for her feet to grow over the summer. Based on that, my opinion is that the shoe fits true to size or perhaps just slightly large (maybe a half size). We were hoping for white or silver, but only pink was available in her size and they look great! Review: So cute and comfy! Great support! - Pediped makes fantastic kids shoes! They are all I will buy. I noticed other reviewers mention Pedipeds run large. They are the only shoes I buy so I can't say how they compare in size to other shoe makers. I did find the Astor sandal to be a tiny bit longer than the Nikki. But these are top notch and great quality. My daughter has a thin, narrow foot and these work great for her. She is almost 18 months and the size 20 fits her with a bit of room to grow.

Size conversion
The product looks wonderful however the size is completely wrong. I found the size chart available at purchase to be confusing and therefore I ordered the wrong size. Please give me instructions on how to exchange the shoes for a different size

Pediped grip Nikki
IGood sandal but just purchased, Will see if it lasts for the season. It runs large my daughter is an 8 but thanks to another review I bought a 7 so it fits good. Hopefully the white paint will not chip from the tip like my last year's strite ride who lost their paint layer during the first walk. The only thing I'm not sure of is if this pair is the correct one for a 2y 2m, since their is another more expensive but otherwise identical model called "Flex" instead of "grip n go". What's different is the age group but the 7 is in both. It has to do with the walking level but which is the milestone pediped??

Gave my daughter blisters the first time she wore them.
So disappointed in these. This was my daughters 5th pair of pedipeds and our first bad experience. The straps are weird first of all and after an hour of wearing them they gave her terrible blisters on both heels. No way she could wear these all day at daycare.

Perfect Shoe for Chubby Little Feet
I rely heavily on Amazon reviews when purchasing products and I just wanted other mamas to be able to order with confidence! These shoes are wonderful. I have a super cute, chubby baby, with fat little feet and these are probably her most comfortable pair of shoes. Stride Rite makes a similar pair (which we also own...Fisherman Sandal??) and these are much better quality. These are holding up really well- we've had them for awhile now. Worth the money :)

Cute design, bad fit
It is hard to find shoes small enough to fit my 14month old who still wears a size 3.5. I'm very picky and was looking for a nice pair of spring/summer (silver) shoes that would match a lot of outfits. This Nikki sandal in size 19 fit my daughter perfectly but the design is really bad. The main issue is the middle strap. It velcros on both sides which functionality wise is awful and unnecessary. Neither side will lay flat or stay velcroed which probably is because the middle strap is just not long enough on either side. Every time my daughter bent down to pick something up you could hear the velcro coming undone. I love the Pediped brand but am very disappointed in this shoe.

Perfect for My Toddler
This shoe was exactly what I hoped. I was looking for a silver sandal that would match anything and I knew I wanted closed-toe to protect my 18 month old's little piggies. This shoe is soft and comfortable and doesn't rub my little one's feet raw. The entire front velcros down so it is easy to put on and remove. I always buy sandals one shoe size smaller than I would tennis shoes or other shoes that are worn with socks.
